    I personally did it giving rainbow feathers to the bird that had the lowest frame, and then when they were all the same frame the lowest amount of feathers on a frame got the feathers.

    Yes, that seems to be the only logical way to go. It irks me to have to give Rainbows to Hal and Leonard, which I avoid like the plague, and I’m not too keen on Stella either. However with the new Clan Battle “Form Your Own Crew” rule, I’m using all three of them much more than I used to. (Bubbles has long been close to 50,000 whereas the other three are less than 20,000.)

    Thanks for the reply and the chart. Under the circumstances, what’s the best approach for handing out new feathers that are earned? It seems stupid to me to give 2,000 feathers to a bird that currently has 49,000 if the result is that it ends up with 1,000.

    I haven’t been around long enough to remember anything like that but I rather like the ability to choose my own crew for clan battles even though you only get five cards. I did pretty well today with Bomb, Terrence, Matilda, and Bubbles plus Chuck. When rooms contain lots of ice/glass I might go with Blues instead of Chuck.

    Following up my own question, I don’t know if Rovio have ever said anything about the Mercy Rule but I can now attest that it is A Real Thing. I was completely stuck on 1o6o, the last (King Pig) level of Missispiggy Rivers and could never even make it as far as the last room. After running through 5 sets of 5 lives (25 does seem to be the  Magic Number), I got a nearly unobstructed path with no swimmers/divers and with a Golden Pig in every (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th) room until I reached the Boss Fight room. It still took a small fistful of gems to clear that room though. I’m beginning to think these chapters/levels are out of my league…

    Is the Mercy Rule a real thing? Have Rovio ever made a statement about it?

    By the way to answer your original question: so far as I can tell my second round of levels was the same as the first.

    You’re right. I just got confirmation of this from the clan leader too. I don’t know how I got that idea but I do know I’ve seen the clan’s total score go down from time to time and I thought it was because of over-ambitious players. In an earlier post you explained how that can happen so thanks for cluing me in. I just played a second round and increased my score by 2 million or so and the clan’s score by a couple of points too. :-)

    @janissary35680

    *** your score will stay the same

    Are you sure about that? My understanding is that if I don’t improve my score on a subsequent try, the clan’s total is diminished. I’ve see our clan lose points on many occasions because an overeager newbie tried to improve their score and failed. Is there an official Rovio statement about this anywhere?

    @janissary35680

    Partly “yes”. I played the battle once and it was identical to the previous day’s. If you check the YouTube vids for the day’s clan battle they note the identity. I rarely play a second time because I don’t want to risk losing points for my clan so I don’t know what a second encounter is like.

    Thanks for the reply. I’m pretty sure it’s a coincidence  too and the thought of closing the clan came to my mind but what are the mechanics of that? How do you close a clan? And how easy is it to reopen it? We need a constant replenishment of members as the deadwood get pruned. I’m not the clan’s founder by the way, just a co-leader.

    This was happening to me intermittently on my HP laptop (Windows 10). I could recover  sometimes by going to the app’s settings and clicking on “Terminate” sometimes by rebooting the machine; on one occasion about a month ago it got so bad I did a App settings/Reset. I don’t recommend this because you start all over again with a new account and have to get Rovio to find your old account and connect it to the new one, which can only be done if you log in and save your progress with Facebook. For about a month after that, everything was more or less OK but the day before yesterday the problem re-emerged. Nothing else  worked so I did a Reset. This time even the startup Tutorial screens crashed. I did a couple of Uninstall/Reinstall cycles and even a System Restore to a date when I knew the program worked. No joy. I repeated all this yesterday. Still no joy.

    I also play AB2 under a different account on an Android  tablet and have no issues there. (Touch wood.) So the problem in my case is the combination of an HP laptop and Win10.

    It didn’t work for me but apparently has for some.

    No that wasn’t it. I figured it out once I realized that I’m only getting the Parade Coins on my Android device. The first screenshot I posted was from my Windows device. (I play with different IDs on the two machines.) A screenshot from the Android is attached and–wonder of wonders–there’s the slingshot icon. Never noticed it before so thanks guys for cluing me in.

    Coins spent. Problem solved.

    Thanks for the reply but I’m not seeing such an icon. The icons along the bottom of the main screen are shown in the attached screenshot. The only slingshot on the screen is the big one next to the Hatchling and clicking on that leads to the Apple Store.ScreenBottomIcons

    If you’re playing on an Android device, swiping the edge of your hand horizontally across  the screen  should capture a screenshot. On a Windows device the PrntScrn key should do it. I don’t know about Macs but I’m sure there must be a way. Try googling “print screen” or “screenshot”.
