Sergeant Greenlight is 5000 gems for me! Never paid 5k for a bot, never will but still Rovio keeps trying.
JuniperBird@juniperbird@hawaii Regarding Quests: if you’re on Android, click on the Achievements icon. On the bottom left corner you should have the green Quests button, it shows the on-going Quest progress or the next Quest details and it’s where you can accept the Quest. A new Quest is indicated by an exclamation mark, you get a new one once a week or so and you have about four days to complete it. I’ve completed the Cobalt Valley Quest so this is what I’m seeing at the moment as I’m waiting for a new one (though it says it starts on August 10th so you cannot really rely on the info):
JuniperBird@juniperbirdThat’s actually the latest Quest (and the reward was two gems).
JuniperBird@juniperbird@gradientturtle7 – for me the problem is that the difficulty levels of the nodes went up too quickly, now almost every node is hard or very hard when they used to be very easy, easy or medium before the update. All my TFs are on level 10 and I am hardly ever able to complete a run, my TF just dies because the level is way too hard. It’s basically the same for all characters.
The constant dying and earning less coins makes me lose interest in the game because updating the TFs to compatibles levels takes way too much time. Also, I suppose I’ll run out of coins soon and trying to collect the needed amount of them at this success rate makes upgrading even slower and the game less and less interesting.
Also, I have the update 1.5.18 installed and quite often after I select a buddy before starting a run, my screen goes black and the app stops responding. (I’m playing on a Sony Xperia Z3 that has Android 5.0.2.)
JuniperBird@juniperbird@sntrooper and @optimuspig, thanks! I guess I had never paid that much attention to the eggbots because I could actually play the game and concentrate on that. Now that the difficulty level is on a ridiculous level I have too much time to wonder about things.
JuniperBird@juniperbirdI’ve been wondering about Eggbot behaviour. Has it changed? At the moment I have two nodes with TFs on a mission. One is being transformed normally, one has an Eggbot standing next to it doing nothing. If I manage to clear such nodes, then the Eggbot moves on. Are they supposed to be waiting? I thought they just move on to another node once the transforming is finished.
JuniperBird@juniperbirdYep, the sudden death bug still seems to be there. My level 8 Galvatron and Thundercracker didn’t make it through a medium level. With Galvatron it could have been heavy fire from the pigs as well but with Thundercracker it was definitely the bug, it just could not get away fast enough.
Also the nodes seem to be unpredictable. Sometimes an Eggbot just transforms a node with no counter set, sometimes a finished node just pops up. I wonder if the latter is related to the wrong node being cleared. Also, sometimes I have to do the same level two or three times in a row to clear it. However, there has been no loss of progress like with the last update which is good.
JuniperBird@juniperbirdI’m on Android and downloaded the update this morning. So far, the biggest change is that the Christmas theme is gone, so no more presents and decorations on the Astrotrain. The bots kept their hats, though.
I’ve played five or six runs now and what I’ve noticed is that the clearing the wrong area/areas resetting bug is still there. Funnily enough, it just started occurring to me (I’m on level 194) probably two weeks ago, long after people started complaining about it here and it still happens, at least with two areas this morning. The run I just completed was reset and another one cleared. I have no idea of the sudden death bug and if it’s still there, so far all my bots have been running normally with no nasty surprises.
