Haven’t played since the changes and no intention of going back with the current state of the game. I’ve gone so far as to uninstall it even.

I put a lot of real money into the game over the years buying gems and the occasional character and it was nice while it lasted.

Oh and as for the OP whose contributions seem to be accusing anyone who doesn’t agree with the changes as whingers, well… yea new poster, controversial opinion… hmmm..

–  How about being able to reduce or even mute the music (but not the sfx). Music is great and all but gets a bit loud and wearing after a while.

–  Fix the cave level. Metal towers that aren’t towers when shot, stuff appearing in the path of the transformer that can’t be targeted, few sight line issues.

Actually.. It’s just gone midnight here and it’s reset for the day along with everything else bar the weekly event.

Would have been nice to know in advance, but having it line up with almost everything else is much better at least (it was 10pm previously)

Worked fine earlier before the update installed. Very annoyed as I was trying to get promoted to silver before tomorrow’s prize allocation

Unlocked this during the week and it’s very frustrating I have to say.

Aside from the numbers of gems needed to be competitive in the daily table, there’s several bugs from my perspective that make it harder again..

–  pigs can shoot through walls and other objects to cause damage when you can’t fire in return

–  the number of health crates in the safe areas is random and often directly in your path which the combiner may or may not take out with a ground pound

– most annoyingly, the game will randomly zoom in so you can’t even see the flying pigs that are taking shots at your combiner – again a problem even without this added complication at times

 

To be honest though I’m increasingly noticing a balance issue in the game where competitions are filled with fully upgraded and prompted characters at the top, leaving those of us who don’t have the hours to put in every day or the funds to buy seemingly endless upgrades at a significant disadvantage. I have also seen YouTube videos of guys with ridiculous numbers of resources so I wonder if there’s a hacking element too.

I think that a matching system is badly needed at this stage to keep it relatively level in each event.

–  As someone with a full-time job + commute every day, I don’t have the time available to put the hours needed into some of the events given the 10k tokens needed, so I’d agree with the poster who suggested extending it or offering them in the store

–  If costs are being linked to real-money spends then that’s a hard NO. I’ve put real money into this game, but asking me to pay more because of it is just ridiculous – if anything I should get a discount!

–  Also agree with the idea of Save/safe points in Shockwave’s spire – every 5 stages when you get to the bonus level seems logical. More than 1 opportunity per day would be good as mentioned above

–  It’d be good to be able to win/buy (with gems) the screen-loads of characters I’ve missed outside of events

–  Better save options than Facebook (in fairness, Support got my progress back after the recent patch issues but I’m very aware of it now)

–  Trade bots with others? My little boy plays too and it’d be great to be able to help him out :)

Just to update..

I received an email from Support today with confirmation that everything has been restored.

Logged in just now and I’m back to where I was on Monday :D

I’m in the same position as the above poster. My progress is gone and I think the reset overwrote my Facebook save as sync was active at the time.

 

I flagged this though the link in game but is there an email address I should be using instead?

 

As I was over level 600 and have spent a lot of time and effort and some money on this game, I’d very much appreciate if my account could be restored to where it was Monday of this week before these problems began.

Tried that but still back at the start.

I logged a support request this morning so I’m hoping that they can restore it from the server as I’ve put a lot of time and effort into this game over the last few years.
