Same thing happened to me this morning. When I went to bed yesterday I had about 23,000 points, if I remember correctly, and had collected 650 of the current run’s tokens. When I woke up again I suddenly had a bit more than 200,000 points.

It made me a bit frustrated as the game put me beyond the last milestone for tokens, without actually giving me those tokens, so now I was robbed of at least 350 tokens that I had expected to accumulate during the day.
It should still work out for me in the end as this glitch put me in the lead and should result in an unexpected win and the 1,000 token bonus, but had any other player in my group benefitted from the same glitch the end result could just as well had been disadvantageous to me.

I’m relieved to see that it isn’t just my game that has the problem with the Challenge Run.

I decided to skip it yesterday (it’s not worth the effort putting in so many hours for those rewards, especially since my Devastator isn’t fully promoted yet), so now that I received a task to start a Challenge Run but was unable to enter, I thought I was being punished for skipping it yesterday. But apparently that’s not the problem after all.

I also have the super-slow Devastator today (after getting the 1.46.3 update yesterday). I’m playing on a newly purchased tablet running on Android 9.0.

@datguygamer Sorry, I meant Sentinel Prime. I misremembered the name; both Hasbro and various conventions have over-saturated the market with both Primes and Maximuses, and this character reminds me more of OTFCC’s powerhouse Sentinel Maximus from 2004 than any of the Sentinel Primes I have seen.

Thanks! Double upgrades for my Ratchet it is, then. :-)

Can you instantly upgrade the same character multiple times in the same event?
With the surplus tokens I will have amassed when this event is over, it seems a double upgrade of Ratchet would be a better use of the tokens than a single upgrade of Sentinel Maximus. But that’s provided that you can upgrade the same character twice, otherwise I have more to gain upgrading Sentinel.

It looks pretty much impossible to me. The last day, the 17th, is just the token exchange, right? Then you have just five days of active competitions to amass those 7500 tokens. That’s an average of 1500 tokens per day! Meaning that basically you need to win the competition and collect all the bonus points every day if you want to collect enough tokens for Drift.

You can repair a few missed bonus points with tokens from the daily quests, but fail to win a competition just once, and you’re pretty much screwed.

I have completed that quest in the past, on levels where I have killed a lot of walking mortar towers (and far fewer than 100 individual pigs). I haven’t actually counted, but my rough estimate back then was that a WMT might be worth about 15 pigs, as far as the *quest* was concerned (even if the WMTs don’t count towards the pigs on the summary screen after the event).

I have “Do 15000 damage while in slow motion on Colbalt [sic]” as one of my daily quests. Yesterday I had the same quest but with fast forward.

But these two quests seem to be bugged. I have made the run some 6-7 times today (getting a mission on Cobalt is a challenge in itself, since you can’t control which missions you get), but no matter how much destruction I wreak the damage doesn’t register. Only in two of my earliest runs today the damage counted; since then I’m stuck at 6286/15000. And it was the same with the quest in the fast-forward zone yesterday.

This is annoying. I don’t care that I don’t get the 10 badness processors as the reward for this particular quest, but being unable to complete it also means that I miss out on the prize for completing all eight daily quests.
