Hang in there AUB I think it will eventually.  Both of my devices did. Now there is a new spin the wheel thing as well where you can gamble 50 coins to maybe get a power up as well.

Bill, will this process save all of your coins and Slings and other stuff? I sure wouldn’t want to start over as I had to do once before. I wonder if just waiting for the next “upgrade” would fix this.

Same with me, i-phone and i-pad. I have an older i-pad that I don’t connect to FB and use a different user name. It DOES work with Popeye. Does it have something to do with FB? This app connects to the cloud so if I delete it and re-install you get the same thing. Now what??  Just wait?

Oh Boy!  ROVIO sent a banner message out today saying the glitches have been fixed!! Faster play and and no more locked up screens!  Great. Hope it’s true. I read somewhere that more than 10,000 people play AB friends everyday. Thats a lot of unhappy gamers when the game doesn’t work. Anyway thanks ROVIO. I am optimist this will work.

Today I did not get locked up during the game but did notice all the pop up adds that I am not supposed to get anymore. ROVIO does not appreciate us players as they once did. If they cared someone would answer these complaints on this Forum.

Since the upgrade I am constantly getting the timer/blinking circle when I choose a power up. It does not time out. I have to power off my i-pad to reset it and I lose the score of that game. Slow play as well. I like the look of the upgrade but it wasn’t tested real time and now ROVIO has hundreds of unhappy players. Star cup seems to work ok so at least we have that. Frustrating to say the least.

Would someone explain to me the value of the feathers in Star Cup? What good do they do and why would I want to buy them? I think they give you more power in Star Cup to some degree but who cares? It’s just a side game to AB friends while you wait for the game to expire and get on to the next tournament.

Star cup is close to being a fair game except you can use a power up from the Angry Birds Friend game that are lit up at the top of the page. This should not be allowed. It would be nice to have a game where everyone gets actually the same PU’s and thats it. With so many player with thousands of power up on Friends the challenge is taken away. I wonder how these players would do one on one without all the PU’s? After years of not spending a dime of real money on the AF I finally spent four dollars just to get rid of the video adds that were becoming really annoying. I absolutely hate the one with the people remodeling their house to sell and the stupid fat cat. I look away when it comes on and would never buy any in game stuff that comes on. Im still not sure about the scoring and computer generated players that others are talking about. I do still play it and when I win I know it’s fair!

When you see the cheat scores just satisfy yourself and don’t think about it.Some times Rovio deletes them but it’s usually at the end of the tournament and by then I have quite playing for the week. I don’t know how they do it but it must involve a program somewhere that does it. I guess these people are just hackers and do it because they can.
As far as the spin wheel, the advise I got last week was correct. Your bird coins go up the minute you hit “spin”. It already knows you are going to land on 50 or 500. The bonus spin is nice but sometimes after watching the stupid video I don’t get the extra spin. A glitz of some sort I guess.
I am out of coins for this week and refuse to buy any so I am out for this tournament. I just do the spin everyday and wait for next week.Without PU’s you can’t compete in this league. Still a great game and I do win the league once in a while when the cheaters or big money guys aren’t playing.

My problem is that I am trying to put a picture to my name on Friends. Thats it. No Facebook. I did edit my profile with a picture but it did not update on my I-pad. I do not see anyway to do this directly on my i-pad so thats why I posted my question.

OK, I know it’s stupid of me, I have been playing for about five weeks now, but here are some things I haven’t figured out yet:
How do you get a picture to where your name is?
How do you good players get thousands of the helpers on the top like the sling shot? I just get two when I need them but just use them for practice.I do use the gun sight now and then.
When you buy a power up what does that mean? A free bird or what.Does it cost real money or the game coins?
Even I have figured out that there are cheaters but I wonder why they do that and HOW do they do that? It is annoying but it is just a game. Getting three stars on some of these hard ones is satisfying enough, or is it? I too want to be in the top five but have learned to give up on some of them.
