I just looked up the error code and found the web page that explains how to fix the problem. it fixed angry birds transformers problem so i’m assuming that it will work on angry birds epic too!

@angryjohnny yes. It says “Can’t update app.” “Angry birds epic rpg can’t be updated, try again, and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting. error code 963”

I can’t download the latest update with my android tablet from the google play store. I have downloaded it with my android phone, but my tablet shows the progress meter fill up, and then when it’s about to hit 100% it drops back to 71% and repeats this a couple times, and says the update could not be downloaded.

by the way, if it helps to mention this, I am also having the same problem with the angry birds transformers update on my tablet, but not my phone.

This also happened to me. 20 gems for 4 items. Lost the gems and didn’t get any items. It said:

NETWORK ERROR:
ERROR CODE: 100(KPS[SST-K])

It said that message repeatedly.

I took a screenshot and sent it with my message to Rovio.

I asked this question: In the latest Angry Birds transformers update there are several new spots added to the map. when I touch them, a message appears saying “coming soon”. What are these places? And what are their purpose?

And the response was that they are new levels coming in future updates.

I didn’t think that they would be new levels because they look nothing like current levels.

I was rank 230 and lost progress to rank 226.

I play the game on my tablet (was rank 230) and back it up to my phone every so often(last backup was rank 226). I updated ABT on my phone first, and didn’t lose any progress(still rank 226 on phone). but when i went to my tablet and updated ABT and launched the game, I lost all progress on my tablet) and the tablet automatically synced with my phone after finishing the intro level. I think if I had updated my tablet first, the tablet (rank 1) would have synced with the server and my phone would get its progress overwritten, I’m scared to think if I had done that.

My phone is Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android 4.4.4
My tablet is NVidia Shield Tablet with Android 5.0.1

It’s on Android. Yes, I can replicate it. but I have to time it right. Stylus works well, it is integrated on NVidia Shield tablet. with stylus I obstruct screen less, and put less fingerprints on screen, keeping it cleaner-looking.

I’m also experiencing in this problem. When I complete a node, a different node will be cleared out. It only just started happening a few days ago (about January 5th) for me. I’m on Nvidia Shield tablet android 5.0.1.

It happens 50% of the time. There will be 6 events ready to play, and I’ll actually get to play only 3 of them because each time I play one, the transformer retains all damage inflicted from the event, and a different event than the one I played will be finished on the map.

That’s a good question. I’m not sure because I believe that enemy health is scaled differently in all stages. So If you have an enemy with 5 health in one stage, and goldbite’s weapon does 1 dmg per sec. and another stage you have energon grimlock with 1 dmg per sec and that stage’s enemy health factor is 2. his weapon is going to seem more powerful even though it’s the same. I think the only people that can shed light on that is the developers.

I mean, is it just for variety or isn’t energon an upgrade to the transformer that makes the old one obsolete?

If we need to be on the same platform, I’d think that’s pretty poor design, but I can’t be sure cause I can’t see their code. I am a programmer, from a programming perspective it shouldn’t be hard to communicate (especially) this simple information between two platforms.

The only information that needs to be sent is the same info that’s sent between players on the android version, or ios version. That data should be: Which Friend? Which Transformer? What level is he? How many seconds? And after combat send back a thanks or no thanks.

The idea is to send only as much information as necessary to perform the basic functionality. to prevent information discrepancies when data is sent. Let’s say High Octane Bumblebee shoots rocket bursts in the lender’s version, but in the borrower’s version, he shoots only single rockets, then use the borrower’s version of High Octane Bumblebee. Sure, you might not be using the actual High Octane Bumblebee that the lender uses, but you’re the one with the different version of the game, and at least you get to borrow him.

I kind of have a similar issue to the one you mentioned. I lose progress on my rank. If i close or crash the game, when i log back in, my rank is 1. but as soon as I finish upgrading or unlock a new transformer, my rank recalculates correctly. While my rank is 1, i have no access to Skywarp’s level bomb ability. It’s as if Rovio forgot to calculate the player’s rank at application start up.

So, yes, my progress stays the same, but my rank isn’t always reflecting it. this is ever since the December 23 update on android.

There is a bug, my rank is reset to 1. and the only way to get it to go back to what it was before is to upgrade a transformer, but if i close out the app, my rank is reset to 1 again. and I can’t use skywarp either.

I believe we will get new transformer characters. I don’t know when though. Stella is on some of the promo pics as Arcee, so there’s one right there.

Metallikato is a martial arts form practiced among transformers. I doubt it has any relevance to new characters.

Yes, I also have this issue. sometimes It’ll crash in the same place on a stage every time.
