Thanks @yue-zhang – I never really thought to see if there were league requirements in points.  All I know is we always won our events by a wide margin, I scored very well in the beginning finishing top 10 and top 5, but my last 2 events in a row were average.  Maybe that was it, but that seems awfully premature.

So big question:

I opened AB2 yesterday to participate in a clan event and saw that I wasn’t in a clan any longer.  No warning, no email….nothing but the choice of joining or starting a clan.   This is a shame as my last clan was

So what are the odds that I was somehow kicked out or that there was a glitch that somehow bumped me out?

I’m a daily player with good star power, flock power, and competing at the Legendary level of the Arena consistently.  Not sure how I’ve get the boot without notice, but I’m not ruling it out.

Getting the hats is always a problem for me.  The Submarine adventure was the only one I could purchase the hats during the adventure and I’ve only finished 3 of them in 6 months of playing.

For the first time 2 days back in the rare chest reward I saw an adventure hat offered that wasn’t thru the TOF and they haven’t been available since Summer for purchase with gems.

This Fantasy hat adventure hat me stumped with just Red and Blues on the first one.  When I landed chuck I made it to lvl 5 where I’m stuck.  again I believe until I can get another hat.

Anyone know if there are other options than the random rare chest or the stingy TOF to get these hats?

Yeah, I was going to create a post on that too.  When did that pop up anyway?  I didn’t see an update for it.

That would’ve been a nifty feature without a cost.  With the cost is just a naked attempt at getting people to buy gems.  Not working on me.

It’s bad enough they make the daily challenges, KP and ToF just hard enough to force you to use them.  I get the concept of making money, but the game is getting too laden with adverts and pop-ups and pitfalls to make you spend.  Getting really old.

Again, this problem persists and I’ve lost even more opportunities due to it.  Further to the arena, I lost an opportunity in a clan event where it literally threw me out of the session with for no reason.

When invested emotionally or financially in a game, these updates come with a little excitement, but more and more it seems like I groan over what mistakes they’ve made to ruin the user experience.  They could keep this game going for a long time.  They won’t ever get a dime out of me – I’m patient and thrifty – and I’ve done well without paying.  Those who have paid may have more of a cause to be angry, but in the end Rovio will drive people away the same way Zynga and Ubisoft have.

More than a few times now I’ve been playing in the arena and I get a notification (text or EM).  If I’m pulling back on the slingshot at the same time when it comes up, I get screwed.  Normally I’d swipe up to get rid of the distracting notice.  At worst the game would pause and the slingshot would reset.  Now, swiping causes the message to open.  However, instead of pausing and resetting like usual it now ends the challenge and I lose ending my streak.  I’ve lost several challenges now that I would’ve won and lost long streaks (btn 6-8).

Seems like a new bug.  Anyone else have this happen?

And before anyone tells me to turn off my notifications, that’s not an option – life over AB2.

You sound like an angry spoiled tweener.  Why play the game if you think its so rigged to “force” you spend money on it?  No one is forcing you spend money on the game.  That’s on you.   I’ve never spent a dime on it let alone thousands.  Sounds like you don’t have your priorities straight.

Here’s some unsolicited advice:  get some outside interests.  No one should spend $2000 on beating an app.  You’re exactly the sucker that the developers are targeting.

I’m not sure I agree with this entirely.  I’ve played the KPP for hours by leaving the app open on KPP.  You just can’t log out.  There may be a 45-60min time frame in which logging out won’t result in ending the KPP, but there are times it certainly seems so.

As hard ass it is to defeat the KPP, idk why Rovio just doesn’t make it an all day event.  Think of all the ad dollars they can earn from videos watched by players in that time.  Also, I like hard challenges, but like someone said above, I’m not spending gems on levels 1 & 2.  I may not spend it on level 3 either depending.  Ridiculously hard levels consistently just don’t retain my interest and I’m not spending money on this game.

Well, at least it was a x2 BP week so building up enough to buy enough hats to beat it was easy.  Other events I couldn’t buy them (like Submarine) and was stuck w/just Red and Blue for 11 days!

I’ve made it to floor 30 three times but have had to pay gems at least once to get there.  I just look for patterns and the best I’ve come up with so far is this:

1) You need to watch where the pig ends up in the first hand you see him.  He generally will be in the same place 33-50% of the time, but you can just as easily make another random pick.

2) Make that 2nd pick and hope it’s not another pig.  Sorry, that’s the best I got on that, but it’ll cost you just 20 gems to get back in.  Note where he is again.

3)  Now, recall the place of the FIRST in step 1 above and pick it.  Then pick the card placement on step 2 above and so on.

To summarise, don’t pick the last card where the pig was but the card before that.  They like to double up on pig placement a lot, but rarely 3 times in a row (still happens on occasion).

It ain’t perfect, but it gives me some success.  There are definitely some days when it seems like I’m “in the zone” and can’t fail, but there has to be more to it then my picks.  25% randomness over 30 floors usually catches up to the best of us in about 8 picks or so.

But now that we all talked about what we found BET that they don’t change it at some point if players show more success.  They rely only us to want to buy gems to get these prizes so they’ll invest in their profit generating activities.
