Hi Chris, Didn’t expect a response from Rovio here, however I’ve contacted them via their  “ Contact Us”option.

I have had dialogue using this channel before mostly to my satisfaction, however this is a different scenario!

I want to play ABF using my purchased slings and I don’t care , quite frankly, about linking via Facebook which has turned into something altogether nasty below the surface.

Looking forward to a response eventually, but I may have to give Rovio a bit of a kicking before they respond.

I think I have the high moral ground, but we shall see!

I’m in diamond league too, but my comments are about the number of times when at level 6 or 7 the game freezes when I want to either get an extra bird or buy three extra birds to win the level.

it happens so frequently it can’t be a coincidence, and it never happens on levels 1 through 5 .

Level 7 also invariably throws up a fully armed opponent to compete against . This cannot be random , the stats don’t support it which means that Rovio’s gameplay contains programmed cheats , I’d be interested to see what other players think about Rovio and cheating!

I rely on skill to progress and don’t throw money away buying credits so perhaps Rovio don’t like me ! Well Sod ’em !!

What are you talking about?
I play several times daily with unknown adversaries ( many I think don’t actually exist)
Rovio want you to spend your money buying “credits” which are worth bugger all when they can program how the game is played.
Haven’t you ever wondered when you get to critical levels, 4 for extra lives and 7 for a big bonus , that your opponents suddenly appear to have extraordinary power??
They try to con us all!
Don’t fall for it!
If you’ve got skill you can work your way up through the ranks without forking out anything, and I suggest that’s what you do!

I’d been trying to change things whilst playing the Arena..
Doing what you suggested worked fine, although now Facebook won’t let me change my name to MadMikeF , which is my ABFriends nickname and works well in ABF
Somebody always has to make things more complicated than the need to be!!.

Thanks Yue, I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work.
It takes me straight to the game and the name I’ve been allocated .
I was MADMIKEF with a personal photo , and then Rovio changed it .
I’m now BEAKY FALCON with one of the AB2 avatars.
They’re more interested in users buying to play than the kind of service they should provide alongside.

You need to concentrate on your skill level!
I’ve never spent a penny on this game and I’m doing OK
Diamond league, you’ve just got to keep at it every 3 hours and improve, and win of course!
I suppose on average I lose 2 out of 15 matches.
Surprising how many times when you reach level 7 you come up against some fully armoured player… I expect that’s money making programming!!
My grouse is that once I had my picture and my personal handle and now I’m just Beaky Falcon with a nondescript avatar.
I’ve posted to Rovio, but they don’t give a toss. Pointed me to this site for help to change name and picture, but I can’t find out how, and I used to be a computer professional!
If anyone has any he, I’d appreciate it! There are certainly players out there with their own pics and handles…..
