They aren’t giving free premium eggs anymore anyway, so mostly what you are missing out on is gems and coins. Well, rarely a free egg will come out, maybe one out 20 or so. But I feel your pain.

I really hoped they would put Major Pecker challenge back to the way it was, as well as maybe give more access to premium tickets for the upcoming event and new birds.  The challenges in the other AB games are much more gratifying to play, unclear why they are making this one such a waste of time.  Clearly the opinions of those of us that support the game both financially and in spirit do not matter, so I guess I will stop purchasing stuff in this game.  Assuming I continue to play it.  It is very disappointing they are taking the fun out of this game that was so enjoyable a few short weeks ago 😢

The same thing happened to me yesterday and again today, play one level (though at start it says 2), got kicked out before I ran out of life, then it said had to pay 100 gems to play 👿.  Hopefully its just a glitch…..

Worse.  Maybe because it was unexpected, but first they made it harder, now its harder again. Starting to kind of suck.  JMO.

I have to admit, I finally got Terrence within minutes of the end. I had already cashed in most of my gems with no luck, got the 250 birds and the 10 hatch ticket. Terrence was the last bird hatched.  I am happy to get him, but the only other one I have is Chuck, couldnt get Bomb or Matilda so no set. But at least I finally got something 😊

So that explains why there arent any premium tickets.  Its bad enough to have to depend on ‘luck’ to get the special birds (of all birds that have been available I have gotten exactly ONE no matter hatching dozens of eggs 👿 while other people have posted about getting multiples of the specials in a given event).  So now even luck wont help.  I think they need to figure out something where everyone actually can get the special birds instead of just people with good luck.  Sorry if I am ranting, I like playing the game but the complete randomness of some of the aspects of getting rewards is really frustrating.

I think its a really good game. I do think it would be nice if the mini dungeon battles were more similar to Major Peckers battle where if there were rewards to get at the end of a battle they would be available in the next one.

I still don’t understand the one about leveling ‘bird cards’ to 23. All my birds are in the 30s. My spell cards are 21, are those the ones they mean?  And if so, how do you even level them up?

@partshade – thanks for the explanation — since I have pretty bad luck overall in life and also in getting anything of value in this game I dont expect to ever actually see onee but at least now I know what they are – lol!

I don’t know that scam is the appropriate word, but I worked hard to get the 250 tickets for 10 hatches (since my multiple hatches did not produce the new bird or any other high-level bird), but when I hatched the 10-hatch ticket the best bird I got was Owlpheus, which I already have two. So at the very least its pretty darn frustrating!

Sometimes in a level you get an option to choose one of two birds to raise your power, that is borrowing their bird, you get extra power by using the bird, they get heart tokens as a thanks.

I had an issue and it took over a week for an answer but they fixed it. I just figured they were super busy with the event setup. It was a little frustrating but, like I said, they did get to it. Good luck!

@rafal-wlodarczyk That’s rough!  I feel for you, it just doesnt seem to make sense how some get it all and others nothing. Maybe our time is coming, fingers crossed 😊

So far the only one I have gotten at all is chuck.  Maybe there will be opportunity to get the others another time.

That is why you can use gems to progress, but as usual the price goes up rapidly and you can lose all quickly.  If i use gems I only do it once or twice and then get out with my goodies, usually come out ahead that way.

I agree, same thing happening to me, i did finally get one 5-star and a few 4-stars but mostly I just keep getting the same birds over and over. And all the interminable waiting just to be abe to play for five minutes 😒

@burbman. That was pretty much my thought too.  I just wondered, since the team exists do they have an actual purpose.  So far I haven’t found a use for them other than taking up space.

@burbman — Thanks for the advice!  I got past the first level that had me stuck, then about 4 levels later got to another one.  I will work on controlling myself to not play levels,  I get a little obsessive, and try your method for a while, it sounds like a good one 😁
