I think I’m also done with this game. I’m a “completionist” and with the last update I feel that all my hard work was in vain. All the levels still have 3 stars, but now I can easily do a MUCH higher score in every single level… and I’m not doing it. I got all the achievements and saw all those generic structures a million times… so, for me, the game has nothing left to give except more repetition and frustration.

Having said that, I’m very pleased to return to Angry Birds Seasons. Its been a long time since the last time I played it and I’m having a lot of fun. In the meantime the game has also been corrupted with tons of adds an new money grabbing systems, but that can be avoided by turning off the internet connection. Oh, and we have UNLIMITED LIVES! And Bubbles! :D

I really enjoyed AB2 and had a lot of fun with it, but I’m sick of games that never get finished and turn the gamers into eternal beta testers. Adding new content is great, changing rules halfway through the game isn’t. :P

@rizdub Yes, I think that’s what I found. But that cannon is a VERY rare prop indeed. I only saw it once and don’t even know if it does anything. Thanks for the info! ;)

The game has so few props and even then it doesn’t make use of them all. It’s sad.

@partshade Yes, it’s sad but it’s the truth. :(

This game was designed with all the ads and money grabbing systems in mind, in such a way that it’s almost unplayable without an internet connection. Everything and every corner has an ad attached and they keep finding a way to put even more ads with every update (the last update brought a bunch of new ones). :P

The difficult in this game isn’t the levels, is being able to play without emptying the credit card. But as long as we can keep farming gifts to get feathers, it’s better not to complain.

@partshade It was before the update and was really weird. It was just a standard pig next to that gun (if it was a gun, but I never saw anything like it in the entire game). So, probably, he isn’t listed as a different enemy, because it’s just a standard pig. But the gun may be listed along with the other objects, like the rockets.

If only I knew the exact level where I saw it, everything would be easier. :P

@partshade The other day I saw a pig that is not yet in the guide, but I forgot to take a screenshot. :(

It’s a simple pig but with some kind of gun that resembles a rocket, but smaller and facing us, just like a turret. I don’t know what he does because I popped him before he did anything (I only had 1 live left).

Since then, I’ve been trying to find him again, but don’t even know what the level was (apart from being in “Steakholm”).

It is certainly a very rare pig, but I’m stupid and missed the opportunity. :(

@rizdub, you never found anything about this pig in the game files?

I also find some levels very difficult and sometimes I have to try for 3 days (or more) in order to complete a single level (and spend gems in extra birds). However, this is part of the challenge and we learn how to get better each time we play.

If you could complete every level on the first try… what would be the fun?

But compared with the original game (and also seasons and space)… this one is much easier. I’m in level 230 and managed to get 3 stars in all the previous levels… but in the original I almost died trying to get 3 stars in the FIRST level!

If you find a level too difficult, just relax and take your time choosing the right strategies. In the first room, before launching any bird, you can restart as many times as you want, without loosing lives, and get different combinations of birds, structures and pigs. For example, if the first room is crowded with “laser pigs”, just restart and maybe they’re gone in the next room. ;)

Every bird has strengths and weaknesses, that’s why we have 7 different birds to use. There is no perfect bird.

Terrence is sometimes weak against stone (it depends largely on the type structure) and VERY weak against balloons (which is ironic) but is still one of the strongest birds of the flock.

You just need to throw him at the right spot (without worrying about the right time to use the special ability… he doesn’t need one) and he can easily wreck an entire stage with multiple structures.

And due to his large size, he’s the one that takes more advantage of the different “gimmicks” in the levels (spitting flowers, fans, portals, bounce pads, etc.).

He’s a depressed, dull and lazy bird, but does his job. :D

About Silver… she’s female and her power needs some practice to get it right, just like Matilda’s (even in this game girls are complicated… hahaha). I find her very useful in many situations.

@burbman Oh! That’s it! That’s what happened to me and I tried to explain in the post above… but I didn’t realize that the levels were swapped!

Now it all makes sense. I had completed level 185 and not level 186… and then they were swapped. Level 185 became 186, with my score, and level 186 became 185 without any score (or, more precisely, the score of “1”), because I hadn’t completed that level at the time.

Because of that, my game showed a level not played placed before a level completed… really weird.

@bankler First of all, congratulations on the new update. I can’t play the new levels yet, but they look very cool. :D

But not everything is good. There was a very strange bug in my game after the update. It’s a bit complicated to explain, but I’ll do my best.

Basically the scores of the last 2 levels that I completed before the update become somehow corrupted (level 185 and 186).

I had 3 stars in both levels before the update, and level 187 unlocked. After the update, both levels appeared on the world map without any star (as if they hadn’t been completed yet) and level 187 locked.

However the popup windows in both levels still showed the 3 stars and my entry in the facebook leaderboard. Level 186 showed the correct score, but level 185 showed only “1” instead of the score that I had done.

In order to fix the problem, I had to complete both levels again.

In level 185 I got 3 stars again at the end and the number “1” was replaced by this new score, now with the stars appearing in the map.

In level 186 I only got one star at the end, but was enough to fix the problem (and still consider my older highscore). The 3 stars appeared in the map and level 187 was unlocked again.

Now I think everything is ok, but this information may be useful for you. ;)

It was very annoying, specially because level 186 is very hard to complete and I had to spend a lot of gems to get the 3 stars, so I really didn’t want to loose that score. Even to complete the level again (with one star) and fix the problem I had to loose 5 lives. :P

Humm… it’s tough, but here goes:

1 – Angry Birds 2
2 – Angry Birds Space
3 – Angry Birs Seasons
4 – Angry Birds
5 – Angry Birds Rio

There are so MANY Angry Birds games and I don’t have time to play them all, so I try to focus on the main games.

Even that way I never been to complete all the levels of any of the games (Rovio is always making more and I started playing a few years after the launch). But now with AB2 I’m almost doing that, with 3 starts in all the levels (I wish the other games were as easy as this one).
