I’m hoping for someone’s old backup file too. I have backups with Helium but, I didn’t realize, they’re app data only. I need the old app :(

how did you downgrade to the earlier version?

I too made a backup some time ago, at level 165, but it’s only the game data, not the actual app. When I restore the backup and load the game, the new version starts and I’m back at level one.

I have successfully used Helium to move Transformers from my Galaxy S2 to my Galaxy Note 4.

The only caveat is that sometimes the game shows that I am level 1. Nothing else is affected . It will reset by itself at random but when I go up a level is will *always* correct itself.

About two weeks ago I contacted Rovio about this. They told me via email that they are aware of the issue and they’re working on server based player progress, just like the original Angry Birds.

Now, that said, I just upgraded my game to 1.14.19 and I have lost ALL of my progress completely, actually making me level one. Before the upgrade I was level 182.

@rpbthree that happens to me not often, but often enough to be annoying. IMHO, it’s a network thing. If it persists for a few minutes, then I reboot my device. I haven’t had that NOT correct it yet…

I seem to have a new bug.

I play a video (doesn’t matter if for 10% boost, free potion or GPR), and about seven seconds into the video the app reboots.

I’ve already emailed Rovio, they apologized and gave me a few golden coins, but I’d rather have the problem fixed. The amount of free rolls I’ve lost….

I’m using a Galaxy S2, unrooted, android 4.1.2.
