Well everyone I finally reached my goal of holding the #1 spot on the individual rankings. As @vuks mentioned @abgofast and ANGRYCAT currently aren’t in the ranking but I checked ANGRYCAT’s egg count after completing my last race that they competed in and it was 221,502.

It was a long journey after a fumbled handoff of the baton from @abgofast at the top of the rankings in which a furious feline was able to grab the baton and run off with. But with the help of our comrade @stevep who found some loose string in his pocket and together with the self replicating identities of @rhonda90402 and @platinum they were able to distract the cat long enough for me to grab the wrangle the baton back. Meanwhile with @alcusto dropping all his egg grenades on the track and @abgofast diving on the ones thrown by the other teams I was able to leap over all the hurdles occurred along the final lap to finish along with the best of the best.

On a side note for some reason the team leader board always seems to take around 200,000 off of VUKS egg count. I’m wondering if it’s not including ANGRYCAT.

I created a new team since I got too many eggs on WED DO 4 U that it put us in 1st and I couldn’t race anymore. I couldn’t find any other decent teams to join that I wouldn’t put in 1st place just by joining it. The new team is PHOENIXRISE if you are interested in joining.

@corporaldaesn & @oldschool I totally get the frustration and your choice to uninstall the app but I would be grateful if either of you were willing to join the team and then just uninstall the app so I can at least still race along side some good players while I track down the mad feline. I’m less than 2000 eggs away and as much as I just love racing with minion pigs as my race partners it would be much easier to get to my goal holding the number one spot with either of you and @rhonda90402 at my side.

So was racing for an hour or so tonight and then the app crashed. Start it back up again and then BAM…nothing. No eggs, no gems, no coins, no karts, no progress, nothing.

I guess I subconsciously I felt left out from being with everyone else who lost their progress while playing this game.

So I guess I’m just left in the position of writing to Rovio and see if they can restore my progress.

@janmej did you ever have any luck getting progress restored?

EDIT: Alright might have been a little early in my reaction. Saw on the Rovio support page a message that if progress was lost in the game to uninstall and then reinstall the app and all progress should be restored as others have also mentioned on this forum. Needless to say I’m back up and racing to overtake Angrycat. I guess I’ve just grown use to expecting the worst out of this glitchy app.

@stevep @rhonda90402 I’m currently playing on the team GO BUCKS until I get the message from @abgofast to join. A couple racers on the bucks are decent and the are a couple spots open if you want to join for the meantime.

@abgofast I agree that it would definitely be worth having the private team to keep the constant newbies out even if it takes a couple days for the message delay to get through for us to join.

@corporaldaesn it seems to really depends on the day and who the game is pairing our team with for me (not to mention how it manipulates SPS and PUs). From my experience one day our team could only be winning 50% of the time the next day it could be 90% of the time.

@stevep Just glad to see more people back racing.

@abgofast seems there is another hacker or something that joined the team. Keep getting the check your internet connection message. At least I hope that’s all it is.

Yes a number of our teammates have returned but there still are a few who have “lost” their eggs/progress and are trying to get their accounts restored so they can rejoin. I am also a fan of the new team name but I can’t take credit for it. Our great captain @abgofast is the one who recreated the team with the new name not me. He created the first ABGOFAST team and has been with it since the beginning where I was lucky enough to join in a few months later after finding this forum.

@abgofast I couldn’t play for an hour or so this morning and it appears others are having the same problem today. I noticed some of the vuks players renamed themselves as CNXNERROR, SAMEHERE, etc.

@abgofast I believe you are spot on with the first part of your theory…didn’t think of that. However since I couldn’t get my backup to work on my new phone I had to resort to racing on the newest version of the app. That’s why this is all a potentially big discovery…everyone on the latest version should be able to race team multiplayer as well.

Are we the only ones on android now? Racing has been going pretty well for me still even with our “reserve” pig minion finishing last every single time.

@rhonda90402 that’s strange although ABGOCHAMPS just showed up at the top of the recommended teams for me so I didn’t have to search for it. I know in the past it took a day or so for the team to come up in the search for some people.

So my phone crashed on me last weekend and I had to get a new one. Unfortunately after a week of trying to use my backup to install the Halloween version of the app I haven’t had any luck and am completely at a loss. The good thing is I have all my GEs, coins, gems, etc but like many others I am unable to race team multiplayer in the Chinese New Years version.

In my frustration I did leave the team to check a theory of mine and to do some espionage (old habits die hard I guess). I found something very intriguing, I was able to join a team and race team multiplayer as well as create my own team and race team multiplayer. This leads me to believe my theory is correct in that something is corrupted within our team(s) which is why some players throughout the game are having issues and others aren’t as Sally mentions. I’m thinking with how long our team(s) have been around, how many times people have come and gone from them, and how many other issues people have had with the app throughout that time that something in our team’s old digital profile is not playing well with the new updates affecting our ability to race.

It might be worth someone else repeating what I did and see if they too can race on other teams (I know @rhonda90402) said she could race before joining ours. If confirmed it might make sense to try recreating a new team and having everyone rejoin, although I am a little cautious because I know we’ve had issues in the past trying to perform this mass team migration.

@all I just confirmed I am able to race in multiplayer but I am still on v1.8.7 so maybe that has something to do with it. Was going to finally update but I might hold off just a little longer until I hear you all are able to race again.

@abgofast yes some part of you is still on the team in some way, shape, or form and you still have all your eggs. Sorry to hear you, and many others, have been affected by such disastrous updates.

@abgofast @stevep @janmej I still haven’t updated to either the Thanksgiving or Christmas update and can still play for the most part (there have been many days where I couldn’t get past the main screen before crashing). Even when I have been able to get past the main screen and play team multiplayer it’s just not that much fun anymore knowing everyone is sidelined and with the even more flagrant use of SPs and PUs it’s practically impossible to win anymore. So needless to say I haven’t been playing much.

You may be pleased to know that ABGOFORIT is listed as the #1 team right now but I don’t know if it is actually accurate considering the scoreboard screw ups with +1,000,000 eggs. Also, it seems like there are many many others who must have also lost their identities or just got fed up with all the bad updates or are like me and just disinterested because our teammates are no longer able to play because there is hardly any movement in any of the other team’s or individual’s scores so there must not be much racing going on anymore. It’s a shame that I feel Rovio isn’t going to put any effort or resources into the game and is just going to let the once great game die a long and slow death.
