For the last two hat events, including this one, I ended up with only 2 hats. It was pig, pig, pig. Ridiculous. I spent gems a few times, but every time I did, I got a pig the next time.

It is hard to do much with the adventure with only two hats. I think their goal is to get people to buy gems.

In the past, I would usually have four hats by the end. Not any more.

MEBC has become a joke. There is no “training.” It is just watching a lot of players hack the game to get the highest scores. It used to be that you could have a good run and get 100 points. That hasn’t happened for a long time now because of all those ultra-high scores at the top.

How boring it is for the same high-level players get all the top rewards, season after season.

And enough with the 10K “exotic” hat sets. They are not worth that price for a flock power increase of 6. There is nothing “legendary” about them. There is no way to get them except in TOF during the event or to pay for them later.

It seems like the TOF has even more pigs during a hat event. Usually, there is a pig at level 2 every day.

These exotic hats have just helped the higher-level players increase by even more since they seem to have unlimited pearls. For everyone else, it can take months to complete an exotic set, but by then, there is another set that has been added.

I have hit level 30 in TOF maybe 15 times in the last couple of months, and I have never received the legendary hat there. The law of averages seems to be off when it comes to the TOF.

@fireandice4711, you may want to consider joining another clan. Your situation was similar to my first clan, which was at the beginning before CvC started. If you find a good clan, you will be able to increase your flock power quickly.

Several of us split off and made a new clan, but it was too difficult to get new players with such a small clan. So we all moved to a new clan together. That third clan was good for a while (@stevey was there with me!), but there were leadership issues. I moved to my fourth clan and have been there ever since.

A good clan should support its members — all of them. You should finish most, if not all events completely. However, that takes the dedication of the members to put in the effort to finish a 600 event even with multiple events ongoing.

My clan, “We’re Old Gregg” (#68881), has now won 120 CvC battles. We’ve only lost 13 times. We had a 42-battle winning streak!

One of our co-leaders keeps a spreadsheet of our events, battles and participation. We understand that real life sometimes requires time away, but overall, you should be willing to support the clan with reaching goals. The spreadsheet shows that. Sometimes people take a break and come back (school exams or work, etc.) We understand that.

We also don’t have minimum flock power requirements, just active participation.

Being top 100 MEBC doesn’t get your clan anything except bragging rights. We’ve finished in the top 100 many times, but that is not our focus. Our main goals are finishing events and doing the best we can in CvC.

I agree about the price of the Exotic hats. 10K each is too much. I think I had five once, and four several times. By the time I have nearly enough pearls to finish another set, there is a new hat event to put me further behind still. No chance to even dream of buying legendary hats anymore.

Being in top 100 MEBC helps with visibility. Sometimes, new members will appear after finishing a CvsC. Everyone is looking for good members.

My wait to play was 3 hours. 15 minutes is a big difference. I wish Rovio would make things equitable.

I had a close score in the last round, but the video button would not play. Kept pressing, but no response. Guess what? The pay gems button worked though. Even with playing the extra birds, the score miraculously was still just short of winning. On second continue, no video button was available, even though I was not able to use it before. I won’t pay to continue again.

@grammyK, sorry you haven’t had a good clan experience. We have a strong clan that does not require a minimum flock power to play — just put in the effort to play and communicate if not available. We had a clan manipulate FP and cheat at the last few minutes. Rovio did reverse the win fairly quickly.  If that happens, do not collect any pearl rewards on the loss or it will prevent you from getting the rewards. Rovio will not reverse that.

I think the only way to get them off the list is to uninstall the game and then reinstall it — if you have unfriended them. But that can be risky since that can be a red flag for banning.

I have people on my list who have not played for a long time. I have to scroll through a long list.

I have at least six birds that did not get bonus cards when leveling up. It is more likely to not get a bonus card (for me) if the level occurs during clan event rewards. It happened a lot during that last feather frenzy when I didn’t get the bonus. I have submitted two support tickets, and they were both just deleted without any response at all. So now I’d say it is more likely I will not get a bonus card than it will be that I will get one.

I agree the game is being manipulated to have fewer gem rewards all around. TOF – I got to level 28 today with only 12 gems as rewards. And as many times as I’ve passed level 20, I’ve yet to get that hat. It was the same last time. I never got the level 20 hat. Spending gems (and fewer gem rewards) equals money in Rovio’s eyes.

They are trying to get people to buy gems now so they are being even more stingy with gem rewards. I agree it isn’t right or fair, especially if you were close to achieving that reward.

Being high ranked in MEBC only gets you bragging rights but no rewards as a clan, unfortunately. Rovio still cannot or will not get ahead of the clan that clone and manipulate accounts to win.

@stevey – yes, we keep track of personal scores and points contributed for all clan events, too. One of our co-leaders does a spreadsheet and shares the link.

It is helpful if you want to compare how you are doing and also shows those who are really helping the clan succeed. He also usually recognizes players who did better than expected for their FP, which is nice.

I really can’t believe that Rovio bans players due to the looping rock monsters in Mount Pork. It happens because of their computer coding!

When I first started playing this game, I found Rovio’s customer service to be quite helpful. When I accidentally clicked on a legendary chest when my phone screen rotated, they refunded the gems!

Now, their customer service is pretty much a joke. Most of the time, there is no response at all. The cheating and hacking are obvious almost every day in MEBC, but it is some of the loyal players who get banned. It does not make sense at all.
