Pig on 2nd floor. Every. Single. Day.

They’ve meddled with the Arena again. Because I won’t use spells or gems on level one, I’ve now lost six games in a row. Not by a little bit, the last game was by 20 million. This game can be so tiresome.

@stedman42 Played yesterday morning with the destructometer. And, yes, I did do a restart. Ah well, that’s that and here we are.

This morning was the first time I played in the new mode. I got 6 coins as opposed to  my usual 25-30.

I don’t need to describe how I feel about this.

Terrible KPP for me today, didn’t get past the first round. Rows and rows of fans blowing everything around. No skill or challenge, just chance and luck. But of course, despite being in a force ten hurricane, the pig manages to find a sweet spot to land and be unreachable.

A new low for me today – level 2 of the arena, an opponent with 200FP more than me + a mighty eagle. I played it (without spells) to see how it would pan out. After clearing the first room they were 20m up. No thanks.

I notice it particularly during Super Streak (which I ignore, play up to the 1500 feather level as normal). From Level 6 I often have an opponent with FP +100 and all five spells. I just quit and start from the beginning.

I’ve hit a pig on floor 2 or 3 every day for the last five days – on both devices. I’ve never played a game before where I’m so resigned to losing.

I’ve only got one hat. Hit floor 10 the other day and missed the second hat. Otherwise I’m hitting a pig on 2 or 3.

I’m still stuck on Round 9 (8 rooms). Not getting beyond room 6. If i could get to 7, I’d use gems, especially with the 20k feather reward today.

I’ve just got to Round 9. It’s 8 rooms; only had one attempt but it’s a bit of a nightmare.

@douglas No, not overlooking. I really appreciate having Stella each morning for a few hours. My point is, she’s always my choice, I’m not interested in the others. So I’d prefer to be able to lock them and not win feathers for them.

And now the pig’s also been unlocked in the new update.

@flinx I’m with you on this. I only use Stella as she’s really useful. I’m now getting feathers for birds I’ll never use. It also dilutes the feather offer for regular birds.

I’d like an option to lock the part-time birds again – I’d just keep Stella open.

DC 4-5-6 today. I tried it once then gave up.  Gem sucker.

I hit my usual Emerald II with the usual 1750 points. But nothing added for all the extra coins I built up. This game can be so hit and miss.

Was easy-peasy, sailed through it. Makes a change.

Wednesday’s DC is another one with no obvious exit. KP gets lodged in a trough and you can only keep battering it. It took five direct hits and only got a sticking plaster.

It’s lazy game design – there’s no puzzle to solve, no tactics, no plan of action.

I am SO not interested in another 10,000 gem hat set.

Thing is, AB2 is now a gambling game in itself. Anything that involves the turn of a card for payment (gems) is gambling.

In other news I think the arena odds have been turned up since the last update. I’ve found it much more difficult to get through the first two levels. Opponents with a lower FP are racing ahead, sometimes up to 20m. Pigs are being left behind and I’ve noticed Silver has become weaker.

Fun times. Not.

I’m saving for Mathilda’s samurai hat – the missing one that had the glitch that time. I’ll be drawing my pension by the time I get it.

Was in second place in my league this morning. Downloaded a game update, I’m now in 10th place. I hate this game sometimes.

Remember the good ol’ days when you could count on Terence to smash through two structures with ease? He’s a shadow of his former self and ready to be pensioned off.

Same with me. Dislodged the Boss at earliest opportunity, then brought down the rocks and both structures onto him. Silver then Mathilda. Not even a bandage.
