There are always cheaters, they ruined epic for the longest time age now they’re ruining abs. I haven’t won an arena match in days. Today, my opponent had 0 points after the first room, then over 332,000,000 in the 2nd room. Their score never changed after that. I took screenshots but can’t get them to load.

So, Cheating is still alive and well.

I finally made it to Diamond (honestly), but don’t seem able to win many battles. I’m currently 9th in my league (fine with that, as long as I don’t drop a league), but the leader has over 60K points. I can grind a lot on my days off and usually end the WEEK at 60K+ with the new point system, let’s just triple that and say the highest I might get is 180K points, in a week with heavy grinding.

They definitely need to refund thousands of coins to some of us, who rolled hundreds of times on the wheel to get higher banner items, only to have them now be worthless (but you can still get the items at a higher point percentage than they made them with the new update). I’m furious.

I also have to leave and come back. It sucks! It’s making it harder to grind.

My friends are such low-level players, that I only used the pig allies to beat the caves. But the bosses? I used mighty eagle. No other way that I could find. And I tried.

New bugs with the new update (honestly, some of them are so bad, I’d rather have the cheaters back)

– for no reason, my birds get stunned. No hits from a bird with stun power, no banner powers with stun power. Usually happens when my birds attack. This is killing me! I keep losing matches because 1-2 of my active birds are “stunned” FOR NO REASON

– My resurrection emblem no longer works, went back to vengeance.

– My Paladin Red/Thorny Matilda heals birds on their side

– Their Matilda can always heal for over 1500-2700 health points at least one time during the match

– My banner and all associated points have lowered, but my opponents’ banner has not.

– And I seem to have double as many cheaters in the league. I was 1-3 all week, now I can’t get past 4, and since yesterday, 2 people who weren’t ranked in the top 8 are in the top 3

– I got a set of objectives today before the objectives reset in the game. I’m trying not to play them (trying to be honest). I just don’t want to be a cheater. Now, if we’re getting 2 sets of objectives, I’m cool with it, but I was under the impression we only get one??

I’m trying to grab screen shots of all these glitches, but some of it happens too fast and my equipment isn’t as fast.

I HATE Thursday Dungeon. Once you hit a certain mastery level with the birds, it’s hard to find the right balance between barely-hitters and power-hitters to beat that dungeon. I usually skip Thursday’s dungeon.

With the bosses in the caves, I had to use the mighty eagle even though my guys are all 8s or 9s.

I have no idea how I played it, but I beat 13-7. Probably with guardian red (golden hammer set), rainbird chuck (Not sure which set) and the Mighty Eagle’s Mercenary or Pigiana Jones.

I received this email from Rovio today:

We’re very sorry to hear that you’ve run into so many issues in the PvP arena. We’re aware of the issue of the birds sometimes freezing mid-battle and have now found a bug that caused this, if you won the coin toss and one of your birds’ attack was blocked on the first turn. Our game developers seem to have been able to solve this issue and the fix will be released with a next game update.

However, we haven’t heard of the birds disappearing after they’ve been stunned, has this happened more than once? Is there any pattern how this occurs, after a certain attack etc.? We’d also love a screenshot of this is it happens again.

We are aware of some players being able to use cheat tools in the game, and are working hard to block the cheaters and hackers as soon as possible! We understand that the cheaters take the fun out of the game and are unfair to the honest players who have spent time and maybe even money to advance in the game. The next game update should also help with the cheater issue.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope that you can still enjoy Epic while we are trying to get rid of the dishonest players and get the bugs fixed!

I realized today that the disappearing bird issue occurred the same day when I did the Lollipop update on my Android phone. I am not sure, but think that may have been the issue. Now that I play on my Android tablet and other Android phone (which does not have Lollipop), I haven’t had anything resembling that problem.

because I have spent so much money on this game (especially in the last 2 months since Arena started), I sent my complaint to Rovio. Would I have liked a refund of all my LC, yes, but I didn’t use them all on arena so I thought that was a bit greedy. I asked for a refund of 1250 LC and received it, after detailing the problems I have had due to glitches and cheaters. I don’t normally complain (I’m North Dakotan by birth, we don’t like to make a fuss), but the plethora of cheaters and glitches made it necessary to do so. I give big kudos to Rovio for refunding me what they did. Now I wish they would work on finding a way to banish cheaters and fix the major glitches. Honestly, they should suspend all play on the arena until these glitches are fixed and they find a way to end cheating.

@angryjohnny, the banner was identical to mine (same totem, same vengeful emblem) in one battle. In the other, it was Matilda emblem and mix and match totem.

I have not ever reset my objectives, or had them accidentally reset (and had it matter. Whenever mine reset accidentally, it means it didn’t clock any of my previous objectives). I don’t want to know how to do it, I pride myself on having gotten to platinum honestly. Granted, I’ve been stuck there for 3 weeks because of cheaters, but I did it honestly.

What’s killing me is the glitches lately.

Out of curiosity: Matilda being able to heal for over 3000 health points – without rage ability…is that a cheat or a glitch? I’ve seen it with several players. Normally with Bard or Princess (a few times with Priestess).

Yesterday, I had a new bug appear: My blues disappeared in the middle of a battle. Twice. They were stunned by a banner or player…and then just disappeared from the play completely. Has anyone else seen this?

5 times today in Arena, my birds froze and I had to restart the game, which caused me to lose the battle. FIVE TIMES. This is becoming beyond ridiculous.

My new favorite bugs (please note the dripping sarcasm):
Matilda on the enemy side is able to give 90% health, instead of 30%. So when she (not using Rage Chili) heals, i’ve seen 2400 health increase. Note: DOESN’T HAPPEN WHEN I USE MATHILDA.

My bird gets knocked out first, I knock out a bird on the opposing side. The opposing team’s bird is back in the game before my bird. Whaaaaaat?

When I use the no rage flag emblem, the other team – though the bird obviously has a “No rage” icon above its head – can still use rage chili. When I use shroud? ONCE it blocked an attack. Reduce rage? They rage just as fast. The only emblem that works decently on the player’s side is vengeance.

I knock down their flag first, and “vengeance” strikes and knocks down my flag, I lose the battle. Even though I knocked down their flag first.

My old favorite bugs (still sarcastic):
Still freezing when I’m playing with my birds, so I have to exit the game…and lose a battle.

People hacking the game which makes it nearly impossible for people playing legitimately to move up. There is NO WAY someone can have over 150,000 points on day 3. I once spent 9 hours straight playing, just to see how far I could get – and I pay money, so I was able to re-roll plenty. I ended the entire 6-day streak with 60,000 points.

I love Angry Birds, and I play this game every day. But this arena has me furious. I spend so many lucky coins because of these stupid bugs. And I do pay actual money to play this game. But I’m about to give up on the arena. It’s rigged against honest players. It shouldn’t have been released until these were worked out. I have probably spent over 300 LC just to get back in the game after my player freezes and I can’t do anything – and it happens time and time again. Sometimes 3x in a row.

My fave are the birds with health levels over 100,000. Pointless to even play. Today, I was in 3rd for the entire day day, and someone who was in 8th pave is now 20,000 points ahead of me. These cheats makes me want to stop playing. I progress honestly.
