RIP Piggies@rippiggies
I have only 3 hats for this one, got through L7 but not even close on L8. Still have a go every now and again but 6 rooms with 3 birds doesn’t stack up when it’s THOSE sorts of rooms :)!
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesDid level 7 with just four birds: blues, red, matilda and chuck. Level 6 was quite doable but 7 requires some luck.
RIP Piggies@rippiggies– Level 6 completed, with four birds / hats
– Nope, tried a couple of dozen times but realised impossible with only the four birds
– Ok, it happens, and Rovio wants to reward those players who pay money or gems for hats; fine with me
– zero, just did my “normal” tower runs and was lucky to get even four hats
– I preferred the others because there were ways to complete even if you didn’t get all hats – makes it a bit more of a sport, even if pretty hard. This one was impossible
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesI reckon that there is a tree of probabilities – it doesn’t matter what card you pick, but at turn n there’s a y% chance (whichever you’ve picked) that there’s the pig. The average y% is probably close to 25%. This makes by far the most sense, as it is quite easy to programme AND to adjust every now and again – e.g. special events etc. I don’t buy the conspiracy BS that it “learns” your ways. Those sorts of algorithms are hard, and just how many users do you think that piece of machine learning has got its procedures for?!? Statistically, you EXPECT to see clusters and clumps – e.g. every few months a great lucky run, or 3 days in a row where you select three pigs in a row. That’s how random works.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesLOL – been playing years and only noticed it recently :). Yup, that’s it.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesHamlet – unless you have not yet unlocked Terrence, or you failed to have a birthday hat for Terrence, the birds you get are identical for everyone. It’s not a rigged game.
RIP Piggies@rippiggies@ red – yup, that sounds like cheating. Hope you guys are reporting them. Rovio always seems SOOOO SLOOOWW at weeding out the real bad cheaters! Good luck for the next one
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesCurious: why do you say the other clan are cheats?
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesGuys – stop it already with wasting your gems on getting a different opponent. The way it works is Rovio matches you with someone based on the score percentile they hit. So let’s say on a good day you can make your 34 million score using all five spells. For the “hard” arena matches (and not all at high streaks are) Rovio will select someone who scores 35 million. They might be +50FP on you with all five spells, or they could be a recording of somone -50FP with that dream run. When you see someone with higher FP and spells, you don’t know if they will actually have a decent run. Many don’t, and you can beat them even with no spells. So when you react to an opponent +50FP with spells, all you’re doing is changing WHICH recording of ~ X score Rovio will use against you. So stop wasting your gems!
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesRebecca – I assume you’re on Level 3 seeing as you need 25. So the way to do that is DC (3) and KPC (5) – for completion, plus any old levels (trail) for one apple each (4 available in total), plus 3 from TOF, plus 2 from Arena Streak #2. That should provide 17 per day, and you need to feed 25 apples every 48 hours, so you can even save some up.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesHaven’t seen this feature. What is it?
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesKochschwein – even though it has no effect, some clans will still try it (just in case Rovio is wrong). An increase of 410 CP is nothing. Do the maths for each of their players: how many with +-5% of same flock power did each of your players beat vs lose to, how may did your team beat who were >5% higher, how many did you guys lose to who were >5% lower. I bet those stats will show you were simply outplayed by better players.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesYes, early on, before it has a chance to float up to the top there…
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesThanks Jon. Especially removing the hole on the lower right of 1606 is dastardly! Had definitely noticed that change.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesYou just get a new egg to start over
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesHere’s an idea: Just cop the fact you lost and don’t waste gems on the extra birds
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesHi Kathy
This is an “Angry Birds 2” sub-forum, so unless specifically stated, all comments are about that version. It’s been around at least four years. Some interesting play features cf other AB versions, if you want to give it a try.
Cheers
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesThanks again. Wish I could hack those health points! I hate the KP levels where you need to keep grinding away, sometimes feels like all seven birds aren’t enough!
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesPiggsy, the points you get in MEBC are always relative to the scores from other players. So while you’re always improving your FP, so is everyone else. To get ahead, you will need to increase your FP faster than most other players at your level. Also, to get materially more points, you need to place quite a bit better. For example, I get 66 for being 2300 odd, and 70 for being 1900 odd, but also just 70 for being 1001st.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesThanks rizdub! Is one of the data items related to how many “hitpoints” the KP has (from what you can see)? There are some levels where a single good hit by Terrence or Silver kills KP, but others where many, many direct hits are needed. The latter is obviously very frustrating and seems to be de rigeur for all recent KP levels.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesHi rizdub
Just wondering whether you know where the recent KP levels (1606, 1613, 1620) featured before? I know I’ve played those before but can’t recall the level numbers.
Thanks!
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesFWIW I almost completed it without pity mode – just a little life left in KP after the free video bird. So for higher FP players, I would say it’s possible (but still silly hard!)
Now what are the earlier KP levels these 16XX ones are based on? Haven’t seen that sort of recycling before! Has Rovio stopped bothering coming up with anything new?!?
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesI love the “walkthrough” on YouTube where the guy buys EIGHTEEN extra cards :)! Similar to a much earlier KP level, but I forget which one!
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesThese are always stoopid expensive in my offers as well.
RIP Piggies@rippiggiesI think it was brought in for players who do poorly on TOF to encourage playing on. I get this option usually within the first couple of picks. But then, say I’ve had my quarterly “luck” getting to level 30 or so I won’t get the option for a week or so.
