    @pampeans really? When you say “Either these are the worst/sloppiest programmers ever, or this code is deliberate and is not sophisticated enough to be applied as intended.” you must be kidding. In the nearly two years this game has been around Rovio/Exient are consistently messing things up with eh, let’s see,
    – achievement counters not working
    – sudden death (characters losing health in the first 5 seconds) – this one nagged us for months on end
    – end of the world bug (been around since time began)
    – updating your progress bug
    – competition timer glitch
    – Blaster accessory disappearing on Skywarp
    – accessories that reduce rather then improve capabilities
    – should I continue?

    I am just as addicted as everyone here, and we are all free to walk away and get a life. But R/E should be ashamed of the quality of programming and apparently total absence of any beta testing.

    Level 15 Bludgeon + reflector 10% damage + woolly hat +10% damage + sentinel +10% explosive force. Also done it with Level 15 Galvatron incl 21% weapon cooldown and 5 % fire rate. Not sure how they would have done without the accessories.

    Totally agree with all comments by @optimuspig
    It should be fun to play events, regular or competition. These competititon events are not fun to play, merely frustrating since you are forced to leave so many targets.
    The 3 characters are ridiculously inefficient in the competition events, adding to the frustration.

    Not specific tot his competition but for all competitions: You need to find a way to have the start and end moments of the 24 hour periods vary. For a given player, that will make them start/end sometimes at convenient, sometimes at inconvenient moments in the day. Now, Western Europe is always asleep, Australasia is always at work etc. Varying moments (which does not mean unpredictable moments!) will allow sometimes one region, sometimes another, to be available for play towards the critical end of the 24 hours. Too many times I’ve gone to bed with a comfortable lead, to find myself in 2nd/3rd place when i wake up.

    Generally for the game, you need to finally sort out the many persistent bugs (FB connect, leaderboards, buddies, scores in competitions) and start implementing some sort of quality control. As long as you cannot get even simple things like the end date of the competition right the first time round, you will keep losing players.

    The difference between pigs killed and pigs counted for the competition may be due to Piggyblaster if you are using that energonicon. That counts as pigs killed, but not for the competition number.
    I don’t think is the pigs killed by the energonicon in general. I use Level 15 Energon Grimlock + Glassor all the time, Glassor is bound to get a few pigs here and there, and I vary rarely see differences in the count. Out of 59 competition events today, only one with a difference – the one time i used Piggyblaster.

    @optimuspig is asking the right question. @nancy your technique may make you win the first place, but it is only because your competitors let you get away with it. You only need one more agressive player, and your way won’t work anymore.
    The competition for Friday has a target of 1700 pigs to get to the 100 tokens level for the full 550 token reward. In order to get there, I have played 38 events. To get to that number, your technique does not work.
    But on the downside, my 38 events cost me gems, I’ve not tracked exactly how many, and since I make about 200 per day in the lab I cannot just deduct the wallet levels, but lets say 300. Or even 400. I do think that is a good investment to get to the easy result of 550 tokens.
    And yes, Energon Grimlock+Glassor all the way ;-)

    @gradientturtle TGIF, as days are getting shorter in Finland you want to make the most f your weekend, I get that, but perhaps an engineer or two could, oh, I don’t know, connect from the comfort of their home, or, eh, maybe drive the half hour back to the office, and sort this out. Probably would only allow 1, maybe 1.5 million people all over the world to play this weekend. Just saying. Customer satisfaction and all that.

    I hear this works best with Heatwave, SEntinel Prime, the Galvatrons and Airachnid. Other birds have little or no chance of killnig the eggbot.

    there seem to be people working at Rovio on this forum, so let’s hope they are reading properly. 9 times out of 10 when I write to them highlighting an issue, the answer I get, if any, is polite and useless. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but that’s just a fact. Issues such as characters losing strenght or unresponsive buttons have been around for months.

    yes, that’s been happening for months. Not frequently, perhaps 1 in 20 games. The buddy issue is with me only the first time I call for him in an event, the second time he shows up no problem
