Several months ago I started up ABSW2 and all my scores were gone. I contacted Rovio and they were able to store a backup that was unrelated to my device, iOS, Apple, etc. They were able to do so with the Rovio Account and the most recent backup they had. Unfortunately, I lost some scores, but that was fine. I don’t think there is a Rovio Account for Seasons though.

Only ones I have purchased are Darth Vader and the Tusken Raider.

Vader for obvious reasons. He is essential.

Tusken Raider has assisted in a few of my high scores (especially Rise of the Clones). And, of course, collecting coins on any level is a simple task with the sniper rifle.

For many levels, you obviously have to use the Last Chance Strategy.

As @wicket182 mentioned somewhere on this website, to maximize your LCS score you’d want to use any laser firing pig (Battle Droid, Red Battle Droid, Stormtrooper, Shadowtrooper, Shocktrooper) to destroy as much as debris as possible.

Then, the Tusken Raider and Kit Fisto can destroy things that no other character can such as cogs/gears, boulders, platforms, catapults, plasma balls, etc.

Lastly, of course, the Tusken Raider can easily snipe any impossible to get crystals.

@rzn83… as @dmsral mentioned, the Game Center is going through its crazy phase again and I get the same thing.

The ‘Total Score’ for ABSW2 in the Game Center was spot-on up until the “Rise of the Clones” update.

@ericbirdz… well said. I went back and did a few B1 and P1 levels using “Last Chance”. I already had a top 5 or top 10 score on these levels using traditional methods, in which I spent many hours perhaps on getting those scores.

Then my first round using “Last Chance”, I crushed my top 5 scores by over 15k. It was literally hundreds and thousands of flings gone to waste in a matter of two minutes. I believe this was the exact turning point that crushed my spirit for this game.

@tomason33… I don’t believe anyone is shaming @wicket182 for his incredible scores. I’ve always admired his and other user’s scores. We are just upset at how Rovio went for a blatant cash grab with the “Last Chance” and took away the strategies we incorporated for these levels that don’t benefit from “Last Chance”.

I suppose many of us here take pride in figuring out clever ways to get a top score. But with “Last Chance”, there is absolutely no strategy. It’s no different or better than a “button masher” style game.

I suppose there are ways to hack the game and get unlimited swaps and all on certain devices… and those hackers/cheaters also get rewarded for “Last Chance” levels.

I used to really enjoy using the leader boards here as a friendly competitive outlet. It’s not like any of us are out for blood and we are always sharing our strategies with one another. So that always brought me lots of enjoyment. I understand emotionally investing myself in the leader boards has absolutely no impact on life or society, but like I mentioned, it was just a fun and friendly competitive outlet.

At first I was completely anti-IAP as well. However, for the amount of time I’ve played this game and the fun I had with it, it was worth it for me. Mostly permanently unlocking Vader added a whole new element. It kept my hyper-active mind occupied during boring times… haha. I no longer play video game consoles (and save tons of money), so $100 in six months is quite a steal since I’ve probably never played any game as much I did ABSW2… I try to look at the bright side anyway… : )

I believe the one thing that really made me lose my respect and fun for the game was seeing random debris piles located in levels where the debris was wayyyyy out of the way from the main action. That is just pathetic to me in trying to get us to throw 20-30 last chance birds per level to get a max score.

So like I briefly said in my last post, I’ll just be back to three-starring levels and that will be good enough for me. That’s what I’ve done with all the other Angry Birds games anyway. No more investing time and money. If this last chance nonsense didn’t exist, I’d still have motivation to play the game.

The “last chance’ feature has ruined my enjoyment of the game and basically killed the fun mystique of the game.

I decided to go back and improve about five scores using the last chance feature. In doing so, I topped scores that I had spent perhaps hours on achieving before. That was like a punch to my own gut… lol. The fact anyone willing to shell out for IAP’s can top a leader board makes this game no better than any other game begging for IAP’s. It’s a clear cash grab by Rovio.

I had spent over $100 on this game with purchases, which I didn’t mind due to the amount of time I’ve enjoyed playing this game. (Bulk of those purchases buying permanent Vader and Tusken) Now, however, I won’t spend another cent on this game.

I’ll still play the game, but certainly not dedicate any significant time or money.

@MVNLA2 & @joeyba… For P4-17, I remember that last stingy coin too. I eventually just shot Vader directly to the left close to the rock, used his rage, and he picked up the coin without going underwater. I assume Obi-wan might be able to do the same. Hopefully we’re talking about the same coin.

@MVNLA2… Definitely in full agreement with you when I see Jar Jar in this game… I just cringe. I thought I’d never find a use for him in this game, but he actually proved himself useful in getting coins. : )

@MVNLA2… I had accumulated a bunch of Jar Jar swaps recently and found him and his tongue of great use with the new Clone update. I probably utilized him somewhere between 6-8 levels. A few levels I’d use Vader to clear debris and then snatch up the coins with Jar Jar.

And sorry if this is not of any help with our quest of getting all the coins without swaps. There were at least two levels where swaps seemed like the only way.

And definitely noticed many of the coins are well hidden with this update.

Yeah, the Game Center is a complete mess for all iOS games. At least the hacked scores were removed for ABSW2. The Total Score leaderboard seems to be the only updated and legit leaderboard there.

For the individual chapters, it says “Not ranked” for all of them and when I click on them, the scores represented are all low scores, way lower than what we actually have.

@jtwade and @nancy… a fun way I stumbled upon some scores are looking at the Game Center on iOS… amongst over 7.5 million users… @renerika is #3… I’m #14… @cali_mom is #18. : )

Those scores are automatically submitted and can’t be forged. Apple somehow got rid of all the hacked scores which was awesome to see.

I figure if anyone can get 120k on that level it would be @thee-michelle though. I tried using thee-michelle’s strategy a few times, but quickly moved on… lol.

I gave up posting my scores on Angry Birds Star Wars cuz people obviously post top scores using power-ups IMO. This is the true benefit of swaps for ABSW2.
