I cleared the DC, it was quite easy, but the KPC wasn’t there. Just gone.

I stopped playing the arena, perhaps only for a while. I play normal levels and the daily challenges.

It feels good not the play the arena and all it flaws :) You should try it! :)

For the first time in (my) history I went all the way – through both challenges – on the first try. No gems spended.

The first challenge was pretty easy. The second was pure luck… Will probably never happen again :D

I have practically stopped playing the arena. Tired from the lousy matchmaking, never getting more than 2-3 wins in a row. So now – 6 hours – before the tournament ends, I am 14th with no hope of surviving.
This pattern I followed the past weeks, trying so hard getting demoted, because, I hope, that I will get a more fair matchmaking in the lower leagues… But every single time I get demoted, I magically gets promototed to Diamond after a couple of hours… Sigh…

What to do… Am I missing something in how the leagues work?

I wrote in another thread earlier, a couple a weeks ago, about my experiences with uneven matching…

Before the update, I played my way up the leagues to diamond, and I won it a few times. Before I could exit the game if I was matched agianst a player with far better birds than mine (mine are all 5’s now), and return without any problems until I got a fair opponent.
The idea with winning streak is good. I like the idea. Now we’re forced to play every opponent else we lose our streak. Now, every time, I am about to extend my streak to 3, perhaps 4, I get an opponent with all 6’s or 5’s with 4 spells… I stand no chance – and thats not fun.

Earlier I wrote, that I feared that I would play less. And I am playing less now… Now I play the Daily Challenge (which has become easier?) and perhaps once a day I play the league to see if something has changed… To bad – because I really like the game, but not like this… I hope they change this…

Am I the only one with these thoughts?

Thanks, Cognitive, I dont mean to be pessimistic, probably I’ll play on. My bird had just hit level 5, and the first opponent had one level 6, one level 4 and the rest were 5’s…

Rovio needs to work on this, seriously…

I agree – there is something wrong with the match ups. My birds are all 4 save one which is level 5. And I keep getting matched up against opponents with all level 5 birds, even some level 6 – I dont stand a chance. Before the update, I could exit the game, come back and hope for a fair opponent. But now, my win streak, if I a was lucky enough to get a fair opponent once in a while, gets cancelled.

Not fun…

I have fought my way up into the diamond league, and won the league, against equal opponents – but if this is the way, I’ll play less. Perhaps get demoted is the answer?

Todays DC was easy – or was I lucky? – Anyway – I strolled through all 3 worlds in my first try :) that was nice :)

Didn’t find todays DC particular difficult. Perhaps I was lucky, I had 4 birds into the boss room. Had been there once before, and failed, so I had my strategy ready :)
I cleared the top of the room with a couple of birds, and the shot Terrence directly onto the boss and watched the havoc he created, finally the boss’ planks broke and he fell down :)
