So finished in first place in my final week in diamond league, rewards are not one ounce different to the first season… I suppose I thought/hoped for something to differentiate that I had endured this flawed, buggy game a second time; or that Rovio would have heard the moans about inadequate reward from the first season. P!ss-poor effort!!
I know I have stated I would stop playing this game previously, however I did kick-on when the last update added more caves/ levels; however there’s simply nothing left to chase. I won’t bother with other Rovio games based on this experience either.

@killerkea… how/where did you buy the Stone Guardian? I can see his silhouette on Red’s page, however it isn’t in the store – and I went to all the class upgrade shops I could see on the map without luck… appreciate the advice!

So… did the update and can no longer log in. Failed at mid-point of “loading levels”. Gave it 30 minutes to try (in case it was just feeling a little tired & run-down…). No change. Exited, performed a forced stop. Restarted – same exact issue. Uninstalled the app. Reinstalled the app. Now it sits there with the sync bar full, just spinning its wheels.
HTC M8 running Android 4.4.4.
This really is a rubbish update. Just plain ordinary rubbish.
Apart from that, how can they ignore all the feedback on this board (& we all know it is read…) and not add to the original gameplay?
Not much point getting worked up over a game, however they have lost me. Time for a non Rovio “time waster”.

This game is pretty much stuffed for me.
The failure to stop systemic cheating STILL, despite all the goodwill and help given them from this community is the disgusting thing here.
I have definitely benefited from programming glitches (I probably farmed ~1200 LC’s when the continuous GP glitch was running); however I’ve also spent close to a couple of hundred dollars on LC purchases over the journey too (& some purists see this as a “weakness”! No judgment here, everyone is welcome to play it their own way!).
That Rovio have delivered such sloppy updates (with no additions to general game play since about November last year) is just wrong. The sharing of this exploit won’t hurt them much (I have tried it for the last few days, and it requires pretty constant attention to get 20 or 30 LC per day…), and have simply used them to compensate the 20 LC fee to reset the “3 strike” clock when grinding in the hugely flawed arena.
Save the “disgusted” comments for feedback to Rovio. We pay for this stuff (even if you are only watching their free roll videos!). We deserve more professional support & treatment.
Note that if we weren’t all so cheesed-off with the PVP cheating, and if the general game had somewhere to grow into so that we could go back to individual game play; we probably wouldn’t be having this discussion…

@larry… our first blatant cheater appeared overnight (GMT +10). Davichito jumped from just under16,000 to just over70,000 in 14 hours…

What you presented makes sense to my “laymen’s intellect”; I just filter all of Rovio’s responses from the perspective that they are ultimately greedy and care about their profits more than our experience… sad, as they could easily sort both out if they stopped trying to create so many new products and focused on getting one properly configured.

@larry, interesting… I checked the leaderboard again after posting that link, and you were still in 8th place on the 13,830 score. I logged in and out of the arena and no change, so I closed the whole game & restarted… still no change. Closed the game again and did a forced stop of the app, still no change post restart! (FYI for those who haven’t seen the grabs, on Larry’s image he is in 7th spot with 14,090 points…).
If this is the case, sometimes when it appears that someone has jumped reasonably big chunks of score in one hit, it could be just the way this interface works?

Hi @larry, if it is the same player Jorge has been at the pointy end of a very crooked leaderboard I was on a few weeks back. I have also struck opponents (or maybe the same opponent twice with slightly different names) naming themselves “JORGEISACHEATER” or similar – one as recently as two days ago…

Hi @mimi27, out of interest, what league were you in when you bumped into them – I thought I read you were in gold? Not much point in calling them a “Ranked Arena Opponent” if they aren’t even in the same league! I had been four weeks in platinum and had used that set to grind for the last week or so.

Not really on topic, however related to part of the discussion… in Platinum league, I just played an “Unnamed Player” who’s characters were level 23, mastery rank 3! Banner was around 6500. I just don’t get the server’s logic algorithm! (And yes, I enjoyed the massacre!)

Hi @dallasreds, I faced your Red/Chuck/Blues set this morning with the outfit you described to @bubbley. It wasn’t an easy battle, however I managed to overcome your start (like a true gentleman I “let” you go first!).
I also played a team (a few days ago…) called “ABN-ISEECHEATERS” – not sure who that is on here?

@steven-dunn-5648 the golden pig I played was not the Arena GP, it was the daily GP. FWIW, the time I was actually in the arena could not have been shorter.

“Epic-fail”!! Just logged into the game and arena 24 hours after claiming prize. The only activity outside of this in the last day was to do the daily golden pig in the main game immediately before entering the arena just now.
I played and won one battle, exited and checked the leaderboard and I am in a fully populated group in a distant last place. :-(
It seems that the only way to exist in this arena is to cheat… (and no, I don’t know how!).
Rovio had better hurry up with this update or they’ll have lost me. Sad, because it was a pleasant distraction to life.

Hi @ericbirdz, maximum stars are currently 906. No final reward for getting there, as Rovio were adding more levels (i.e. adding more caves…) with major updates – although there has been nothing since last year other than their abortive effort introducing the Christmas event and the cheaters vs. cheaters arena!
It isn’t a spectacular effort – they seem very focused on pumping out new games rather than supporting the people committed to playing their mature ones…

So, I went into the arena at the 72 hour mark and claimed my prize. Ignored everything else and exited without even checking the leaderboard. The plan is to go in tomorrow after 24 hours to do one battle and exit, no other activities. I will wait until the following day to check the leaderboard.
