Well, to be fair, I already have the Golden Chili and the Golden Cauldron, and aside from Illusionist and probably Sea Dog, there aren’t really any classes I want that I don’t already have.

There’s also the fact that the items in the Chronicle Caves, while really good as set item substitutes, become useless once you have set items (up to a certain point based on the level of said set items) and are really hard to get without a billion friends and a bunch of Friendship Essence. At least, from my experience, that is. :v

I got a bunch of set items from the 5x Rainbow Riot, all shown to be level 29:
    Red – Dragontooth, Titan’s Wrath
    Chuck: Chronometer
    Matilda: Honey Spoon, Demise, Yang
Bomb: Rock, Golden Pistol, Candy Bomb
    The Blues: Angry Birds Plushies
Those in bold are new, the others are upgraded versions of set items I already had.

    tl;dr I got a lot of stuff.

…I really shouldn’t be gambling on the GPM this much when I still have so many classes to buy…this was from tons of LCs spent, probably around 100-something =P

The later ones are kinda strange…I got the Love Banner pretty easily…and the Feather Cards.

If I were you, I’d chalk it up to bad luck; countless times already, I’ve had to use Friendship Essence to re-roll the wheel until I got what I was seeking (typically either a chest or an item, the latter usually not worth the cost). Re-rolling seems to be the key to getting good loot in the Caves. :V

…that said, have you tried re-rolling the wheel if you don’t get the prize? Might help with not having to go through 2 pages of friends’ birds just to get, like, nothing…

I’d just like to say something: I went mad trying to farm the stuff needed to get the Illusionist in time, playing as many easy battles as I could (since there isn’t really much difference between the different battle types aside from stamina requirement), and I couldn’t even get past Gold Ring farming. Yes, I completed all the stages, but I joined at the very beginning (give or take a couple hours), crafted and used Stamina drinks left and right, and still only got around half the materials for Chuck’s new class.

Was I gambling a lot? The logical answer is a straight “yes,” simply because most of the battles had a 1 or 2 in 8 chance (multiplied by star count) to give you the material that level was offering. If also taking the lack of anything on the map to help with farming into account…there wasn’t really a large number of ways you could collect the required materials without, like, a million friends on Facebook and therefore a ton of Friendship Essence to craft Stamina Drinks and re-roll the wheel when you didn’t get something.

Rambling mode deactivated, I congratulate those who can make sense of anything I just said.

I have mostly 5’s, with a couple 6’s sprinkled in:
Red: Avenger 2, others 5 (don’t have Stone Guard)
Chuck: all 5 (don’t have Thunderbird or Illusionist)
Matilda: all 5 (don’t have Bard or Priestess)
Bomb: all 5 (don’t have Sea Dog)
Blues: Tricksters and Spies at 6, Rogues at 5, don’t have Marksmen or Skulkers

…is this decent for level 25?

I have a question: What exactly is the multiplier given by the Advanced Golden Pig Machine in comparison to the original?

Some friends would be nice ^^
Level 24 and leveling, some set items, most classes level 5 (two Blues classes @ mastery level 6). Currently working to get stronger to make Cave 2’s boss level easier (Captain Red Beard is pretty intimidating imo).
here, took me a bit to get my alt FB thing set up

    Set items for Bomb:

    Captain’s Orders
Weapon: Captain’s Cutlass (15% chance for +50% damage)
Off-Hand: Captain’s Logbook (taken damage decreased by 8%)
Effect: In addition to attack power, Whip Up gives the target an additional 10% critical chance, stacking with any chance the ally already has from their weapon.

    Wheee~

EDIT 1: Ooh, set items for Chuck:
    Madman’s Rage
Weapon: Stick of Madness (15% chance for +50% damage)
Off-Hand: The Book of Fury (attack power increased by 5%)
Effect: The Rage Chili is filled by any attacks launched by Speed of Light.

Am I the only one here who finds Prince Porky (and by extension, the Desert Pig Castle as a whole) significantly easier to put up with than Wizpig?

The ability to experiment with alchemy ingredients to get unique potions based on the ingredients used would be amazing. Like, using the Cauldron to mix two ingredients together to make a new ingredient or potion that can’t be obtained otherwise. After you discover an ingredient or potion, you could then craft it using some other more obtainable ingredients.

…idk. Probably needs some fine-tuning to be a usable idea. Star collection requirement, maybe?

Holy bajeezus…I’m only around the middle of cave 2…I’d best get moving if I want this new Golden Pig Machine .-.

Time to farm the Desert Pig Castle like it’s nobody’s business…
(Because I can’t put up with Wizpig, I really can’t.)

I can only imagine what two Dancing Sparks on the same turn can do with the Blues as Spies…hoo boy.

Also, I don’t know about anyone else here, but I did not like Sonic’s rage ability at all. Only used it once to try it out, again by mistake, never used it again. It’s more or less useless, if you ask me. If Sonic had Chuck’s rage ability (which would’ve fit perfectly anyway), I might have appreciated it a bit more.

    Clarification of what I said: I’m willing to wait out all the saving up required to get the Illusionist class. 275 Lucky Coins will take me a long time >>;

…although to be fair I do gamble on the Golden Pig Machine from time to time. Mainly during the Rainbow Riot rewards I get from the calendar.
(Also, there’s the 3 Lucky Coins you get from every level up…and I’m currently level 20…)

…yeah, I guess “farming” isn’t exactly the best word to describe it.
    Meh.

    @thomasthepencil

Aaaaaaaaand I couldn’t get everything. Not surprising. I did beat Golden Cloud Castle (or whatever it’s called) twice though.

Anyone got an estimate or exact number on how many Lucky Coins this thing’s gonna run me? I’m willing to do the farming…

    Ohey first post.

Out of curiosity, are there any plans to make the class available to purchase at some point or make the drops more common? The Red Rope levels are open and here I am, still trying to farm Gold Rings :V
