    Hello to all!

    Regarding the new update if you want to continue playing team multiplayer then it seems you should avoid new update. As it was mentioned earlier the multiplayer mode is gone in the new version:

    Hi Arus73!
    If you use Android platform, you can try old “trick”: uninstall current version and install 1.8.7., as it seems different versions use different ways how to connect to cloud data. If GEs appear in old version of game you can upgrade to newest version.

    Regarding Rovio developers I have the same feeling and question if the Rovio have left any developers at all?

    you really made a surprise in the morning!:) I told Bella to leave you in a team, but she was categorical!:) She loves cats.

    I miss a little bit rivalry with ABGOCHAMPS so I wonder if you could make several team also!

    Today I checked individual player ranking table and there is some strange things, several players is gone including AngryCat and ABGoFast.

    As our teams and ABGoFast teams already tested, the problem is #1 place in team ranking table. So today team VUKingVuks is on the top on the team ranking table, that means the members of team VUKingVuks can’t connect to team multiplayer now. We should decide how to proceed next.

    @abgofast nice to hear that new team is working fine for you all! As our team Vuks has problem with GEs score on team and team ranking table and additionally connection problems so I and Bella decided that creation of new team also could help solve these problems. Let’s see!

    Thanks to Nikos and BlueBear for joining to the new team. At the moment game works fine for me. We will be waiting other team mates to join to our new team. This will be good test to check how the team multiplayer works.

    I and Bella wrote to the support regarding connection problems to the team multiplayer and receive the same answer:

    “Unfortunately we do not have plans to fix the multiplayer at this point in time. We are really sorry and understand this is very frustrating to many of the top players as you, but currently we simply do not have plans on looking into this issue as our developers are focusing on the future updates. We are really sorry!”

    So that means we should continue to experiment as we see that Rovio don’t care about multiplayer much.

    Since Saturday when you created new team and our team become number 1 on the team ranking table, nobody of our teammates could connect to team multiplayer. We have suspicion that this connectivity problem is related to first position on the team ranking table. At this moment we can connect to team multiplayer from both of our teams.
    What you think about this observation?

    What is the situation with team multiplayer in your team now?

    Today I with Bella and Nikos made some experiment to find out how to connect to team multiplayer. After the tests I can’t join back to our team Vuks because team ranking table is totally messed up.

    As @bluebear suggested I have made new team VUKingVuks so join to new team to play team multiplayer again. We can test this solution which ABGoFast also made.

    Please share your ideas and suggestions here.

    Congrats @bluebear with reaching Top 20! You are quite close to 100k club!:)
    Regarding Sundays individual players score table I also liked it!:) Of course it is a little bit provocative!:)

    After the new Chinese NY update the most of our team mates have returned, except we don’t have any info about AngryCat and Maksim (if you find this forum please give us some message). I hope they will return!

    Hi @supersic! @bluebear and @nikosf had the same problem and they succeeded to recover their original profiles.
    One of the possibilities is to try @nikosf experience. As I understand from Google translate (Greek to English) Nikos uninstalled the game, and then installed the new version. He chose to take data from cloud. This is very important moment as Nikos emphasized it. Maybe you could consult with Nikos about this.
    If the user data is correctly taken from cloud and another profile emerge, maybe it will be necessary to remove old profile from the team to be able to re-join. This of course is quite risky but you can try it.
    Regarding @bluebear, he downgraded to 1.8.4 version where he got back original profile, but some carts and gems what he had earned after installing Thanksgiving and Christmas update he lost, but recovered all the earned GEs before. After that he upgraded to Chinese NY version and in new version all work correctly.
    Please let me know what ideas and progress.

    At this moment I with Bella are trying to collect info about our team players and the status of their profiles. It seems that there are several players who can’t access their original profiles.

    I still use Halloween update (iOS), almost all works fine so I plan to use this version further.
    Bella also had problems with access to her profile during Thanksgiving and Christmas update. Last week downgraded to 1.8.7, tested that she can connect to original profile after that she upgraded to Chinese New Year update. Seems developers fixed something so she could access her original profile in this version as well, although game crashes very often.

    Regarding about experience with different game versions, I wrote the post last week (page 130) about “old” and “new” data saving system. If it is not possible to access to profile from “new” versions, you can try downgrade to older versions with “old” data saving system for Android version 1.8.7 and iOS version 1.8.4, for iOS @bluebear now is testing it. Only question is if it possible to repair profile so it could work on new versions. Here of course I think support should be involved.

    Now we can add @nikosf experience recovering original profile.

    Deleted application from ipad 2 and downloaded again.
    Connected With 4G with no wifi and then tab to the storage cloud stepped points. Left! not right. If you hit the right you lose all points.
    I found all my eggs but unfortunately I lost many cars.

    Regarding @nikosf he is our team player, but he had the same problem as @rhonda90402, so he also made lot of profiles.

    I’m glad that you joined to this forum. As this game is not predictable it is nice that we can communicate with each other and share experience.

    Regarding GEs I think you should request support to restore some older backup. If they restore your original profile you could try to upgrade to the new Chinese New Year update.

    There is some difference between the numeration of versions in Android and iOS.
    I looked through my correspondence with Rovio support and Bella looked hers:
    iOS: 1.6.3, 1.7.0, 1.8.4 in these versions Rovio used the “old” version of saving user data, when they were saved on the user’s device and in the cloud. When the game crashed, usually the “save conflict” window appeared. In these version I had a problem with SUBZERO episode, when game “froze” and after restart my multiplayer score disappeared.

    1.9.0, 1.10.1 (Halloween update), 1.11.1 in these versions Rovio uses the “new” system to save user’s data, when everything is stored in the cloud. When you go from “old” versions to these “new” ones, the game require the local device data to be imported in the cloud.

    Android 1.8.7. version could be on of the best in my opinion and it also uses the “old” data saving system.
    1.10.1 (Halloween), 1.11.1 (Thanksgiving and Christmas update) are the “new” versions where all the data is stored in the cloud.
    Of course this information is not official, it’s just what I have conclude from my and Bella’s experience with this game. Maybe somebody has some more information about data saving and synchronization.

    I myself still use 1.10.1 for iOS (Halloween update), as Rovio can’t give support 1.11.1, even after 2 months.

    Regarding the old version reinstallation to iOS devices I found this article, but I haven’t tested this yet:

    The main suggestion is to make a backup before installing the new versions.

    Greetings to everyone on this forum in this year!

    I really hoped that the developers will solve the problems with the new update, but unfortunately it was mission impossible for them.
    As the result our team has lost 2 players Nikos and today also BlueBear, both were removed by Rovio due to inactivity for 2 months.
    To avoid removal of Bella’s profile and to get access to original profile we downgraded to 1.8.7 (for Android).
    I wonder why in 1.8.7 version it is possible to connect to original profile but on newer versions it can’t be done?
