I looked at the set item myself, and this is what it says:

All allies deal 100% more damage against a banner, that’s below 50% health.

It sounds like only the damage dealt to the banner will be affected. Not to the other birds.

Still a great set. Basically reduces the opponent’s banner’s health by 25%.

Just to confirm, I have Mana Staff at level 52, but it is weaker than all my other 52 items. Is this normal, or is mine glitched?

I was weaker when they were the same upgrade level. It is now at 3 vs other items at 1, but it is only 2 attack stronger.

Whirlwind is weak. You would be better off using Chuck on almost any of his classes and boost him instead.

I know that it can be different depending on gear etc, but with my birds.

Matilda lvl 11 hp (more hp than Bomb) + Giant Growth + Whirlwind:
3314*1.2*0.15=596.52

Red lvl 11 hp (most hp of all my birds) + GG + WW
3982*1.2*.15=716.76

Chuck lvl 10 Mage + GG
638*1.2=765.6

Chuck lvl 11 Thunderbird + GG
549*1.2=658.8

This doesn’t even factor in any of the defense down debuffs or the fact that Chuck can benefit from other attack boosts, but Whirlwind cannot.

I’d stick with rogues. Avenger is such a weak class.

It reads to me that it heals Matilda for 15% of the damage that the afflicted enemy deals with its own attacks.

This class could be useful as a tank if combined with Blue’s Rogues because of the hp boost.

Hp/attack boost seems like a handy move (it says target ally, so single target), but overall, the class seems a little underwhelming. I was hoping for a multi-strike class to efficiently utilize the Nightmare set.

I reported the reset of my daily calendar to Rovio, and they fixed it for me. I’d recommend that for anyone else. It was a pretty quick response

The upcoming mini-map campaign looks like it is adding a new class, Stone Guard, for Red. Perhaps it is already counting it for that achievement.

I am positive that I have seen it provide me with 0 silver upgrades once. I remember this because the one before it had given me one, and I was very displeased. I don’t have any proof though.

Is it just me, or did the update weaken epic banner items? They used to be my strongest items. Now they have less hp than items from even the same league.

Endless Tower:
There is no beating it. Tough randomized enemies with higher than average mastery drop rate. Every 10 floors there is a random boss. Enemies get an extra 10% boost to HP/Atk on the 11th, 21st, 31st, etc level. Have a community scoreboard for highest floor that resets weekly, kind of like arena. Perhaps have a decent prize for top scorers. Possibly something involving epic items or gold coins.

@dr_ishmael If the opponent’s bird is knocked out by a DoT (damage over time), they do not receive the first count on their revival since it does the turn count before the damage.

Yeah, it doesn’t look like it’s worth my effort. One has jumped up again to 45.7k. What happens to me is too erratic if I would want to try to compete. I was in second for a while when there was only the one cheater. Rather disheartening.

Question on ethics:

I do not know why, but my objectives are resetting themselves on me (I think it has something to do with my spotty connection to the server). This is a little annoying because work I put towards some objectives are erased, but overall this can give me an advantage. I try not to abuse it too much to make it that unfair for people.

I am in 4th place in my league at 16k from trying to get objective 3 and getting an extra 1/2 because of a reset. 5th is 13.6k, 6th is 12.6k, 7th is 11.5k.

However, 1st is 72.6k, 2nd is 39.6k, 3rd is 39.3k. Should I try to use my advantage to catch up? Everyone else in the league is locked out of 1/2/3 already, but I may have a chance.

I can confirm that set item Frozen Hide (Damage taken -20%) does not work, but can’t say for the others.

I checked many times during battles. The damage that my birds take is equal to the amount they would take without the damage reduction.

You clearly don’t know how it works. It adds an additional 10% to the current modifier. (ie going from 1.5 to 1.6) It doesn’t increase by 1.1 each time.

Elite (lv5) has a 1.4 hp/atk mod
Master (lv7) has a 1.6 hp/atk mod (not 1.1^6=1.77)

Maybe my luck is backwards. The first few times after rainbow riot came out, I would always try a couple times (5-6). I never got an epic item from rainbow riot, so I gave up trying.

Really? I have gotten two since they fixed it again. Just normal free spins without rainbow riot. You may have just had an unlucky streak.
