Merry Christmas everyone! I’m sorry to see Angry Birds Seasons Greedings come to an end, but it has been fun to have a level every day. That said, don’t rest until you have 3 stars on all levels.
Our strategy for Season’s Greedings level 1-25 is to fire the first Black bird head-on into the bottom-left pig. After snowballs cascade downward, loft the next Black bird just left of King Pig. The explosion should clear all pigs on the left side and most on the right. Aim the next Black bird a little flatter, landing in the heart of the right structure. Blast those piggies away, then go enjoy some milk and cookies — and bacon. The score in the video is 158,990.
P.S. If you’ve passed all the levels of Seasons Greedings don’t forget about your present!

Last level not much of a challenge, but the total destruction bonus level is NUTS. Anyone find any secret spots? Bombs? 2,237,310 total on levels 1-25.

3 Stars on 1-25, been trying on and off all day, just couldnt get enough to get the three, had 150K + and still 2 stars, then got 152,810 !
Rovio are spoiling us, another bonus level for getting 3 stars on all levels, the fun just goes on and on !
Have to say, these games are real value for money, especially with the extra levels and free add on levels they keep putting out !

If you’re interested, you can get more points than either of the 2 methods. It’ll require a bit more patience and a whole lot more tries because you have to be precise. First when the level first loads, wait a sec and let the level settle. You’ll automatically be given free points. I’ve seen as high as 140 starting. The first bird you want to shoot it high enough that it travels down the first hill’s inside path. If you do it right the bird will travel down with little resistence settling on the bottom wreath. Hit the screen to blow up the bird. If you’re lucky, depending on the collateral damage, you can get rid of all the pigs in the first hill and most of the pigs in the second hill. The next bird you want to shoot close to the same way to get rid of the rest of the pigs. This will leave 2 extra birds and yield around 165,000+ points. The best I got was 166,780.
@brian: The last bonus level does have a secret spot that I hit luckily on the first bird. It basically obliterated the whole bottom level except for the first pig on the left closest the to left side presents. From there, I used the second and third birds to take out the presents and the last bird to take out the last presents and pigs. It yielded 210,360 points.

I actually have no idea… I hit it by luck. I want to say it’s somewhere around the big pig in the middle. From the comments in the bonus level walkthrough, it seems that’s the case.
ok… a couple of more plays and it looks like you have to destroy the bottom, rectangle block underneath the big pig in the middle to get the explosion.

You’re talking about the Xmas bonus level? It’s real hard to hit. The only thing I know, is it takes the perfect launch. Check out the Xmas bonus thread for tips. On the first bird, I just try to get it to skim just underneath the first hanging present.
Finally got this with two birds using Megaspaz method! This got me score addict achievement too! I had to do it the hard way because I went back to these levels after hat glitch was fixed. Thanks everyone for the walkthroughs and tips!

Please help!! I have total destruction on SG but the big present bonus level just doesn’t open. It remains black. I don’t know if it’s important but I made the Back to school update yesterday

There’s a bug in v2.5.0 that effects both Seasons Greedings and Wreck the Halls. I’m guessing this issue is related to that. Rovio has been informed, though (unfortunately) your best course of action may be to wait until a bug-fix update is released. Sorry about that :(

I completed all levels with 3 stars but the big present wont light up for me to play the golden egg level?!? Restarted my phone still with no change…Does anybody know why??? My phone says 75/75 stars??? HELP!!

@duffy, I’ll chip in my 2 cents worth, though I’ve yet to improve my existing score which I got probably 18 months ago, but I’ve been replaying to see if I can improve. The strat descibed by megaspaz above is the way to go but as usual requires a big dose of luck. Getting all the pigs in the left pile with your 1st shot really helps but you need to leave a clear path for your 2nd shot. Usually the snowballs just pile up in the middle, but if there is some kind of a gap left there you can get your 2nd bird in there to take out the pigs on the right. My best score today was 166k using this method. Good luck!
I’ll chime in here, too, although I really don’t have much to add. This level is really more about luck than anything else. Throwing the birds precisely (particularly the first one) is obviously important, but it’s not really a difficult shot.
Like others, I threw the first bird to come down the inside slope and stopping at the wreath. I did not manually detonate. (I also tried what @waimea described, but couldn’t get it to work for me. I just couldn’t get any action at the bottom of the pyramids. I’m glad it’s working for others!)
The second shot really depends upon what pigs are left. I was able to get 165-166 several times. When I finally broke through this “wall,” I had a great second shot to the right. It settled pretty deeply into the mid-left side of the right pyramid and easily killed the remaining three pigs. The thing that really made the difference is that the snowballs (or whatever they are) really got blasted to the right. I was a bit stunned watching points add up.

Urghh! I’ve tried to block seasons greedings from my memory but can’t resist the challenge :)!! I started the day at 165k,so I decided to follow the method I’ve used from the start & I’ve slowly crept up to 169k. First bird high ark so blackie rolls down the inside of the first mountain,he needs to be snug in to the snow,even if he turns red on the way down he won’t explode till the very bottom(let him explode on his own) A “perfect” shot should get you around 130k+ with just a few piggies left over. I then used another two birds to get as many points as possible. I’m sorely tempted to keep going as only 2k off the top score but I’ve started singing “Jingle bells” in my head!!! Soooooo very wrong :))!
@JLZ-66 I hear you, Seasons Greedings is my least favourite AB place to be, but the Challenge just draws you in… Very nice flinging, congrats!

You think you’ve hit the perfect first shot but then it’s all down to the settlement of the snowballs Ahhhhh!!. Think I’m going to try @waimea method now………. Wait…Didn’t I just say I was leaving this level? Lol!!
@duffy…I also used the same first shot, with one big exception. As the bird rolls down through the packages, I detonate just as he’s passing the fourth snowball from the bottom (or between the third and fourth) instead of letting him go all the way down to the wreath. I found I could clear all the left pigs much more easily (if you count 1 in 100 flings easy) that way, leaving a shallow lob straight across into the 3 or so birds left on the right and pretty much just hoping for the best. Lady luck just smiled on me today. Hope that helps duffy.
Thank you @waimea…your tips helped me improve my score to 168410 ;-) Detonating between the third and forth snow ball from the bottom did the trick as well as sending the second bird over with a “shallow lob straight across” ;-) Nice job with your score…Congrats!!!

Thank you @waimea for the post and your technique. A challenging level but it did work as described with the Bomb Bird by the fourth snowball.
@waimea, your strategy was perfect in getting over 160k. The only thing I changed was to let the first bomb bird roll all the way to the bottom wreath and manually detonate the bomb. I guess it makes a difference on an Android, since I tried detonating at the third/fourth snowball many times and could not clear the left side piggies. Otherwise, the time has come for me to move on outta this episode and continue my third (or is it fourth?) quest through ABS!

I am not sure If anybody has mentioned this yet but after around 20 mins of trying I completed the level with 1 bird and got 172,400. ‘Simply’ get the 1st bomb bird in the ‘little’ crevet inbetween the leftmost white with red stripes, present and the Santa King Pig. Hit the blue with yellow stripes, present and it will go right to the bottom of the pile of presents and reaths. The maximum amount of points possible is around 173,000 and 174,000, however I have tried and the best I have got with this strategy since is 138,830, with 1, very bruised pig and 3 bomb birds left. If the pig had died the score, including the slight fall of snowballs would have caused the score to go over 174,000:)
OK I’m confused, I 3 starred all the levels and at the end of 72 I am not able to go past that point, is there something I missed. There was what seemed to be a bonus level and I beat it but on the bottom of the screen is says 72/75 how do I get to 73 and forward? Thanks in advance
It sounds to me like you have 3 levels with only 2 stars.
They all show 3 stars and I don’t quit a level until I 3 star it. The present doesn’t light up and I can’t go any farther. Why don’t they let you go back to the playing field after you’ve finished? If there is a way I would like to go back and check to see if I’ve missed levels somewhere?
Can you show me a screenshot of your Level Selection Screen? (The one that shows all 25 levels)
Not sure what you mean @klules664 but when you open up the AB Seasons game you will have to choose a season (1, 2 or 3). In your case choose 1. After which you will get a screen where if needed which you can swipe to the left or right and select “Seasons Greedings”. Next you will get probably the screen with the present and the golden egg. Swipe to the left and there are all the levels of Seasons Greedings. Beneath all the levels are the amount of stars, check which level has less than 3 stars and select that level and play that level.
After you finish a level and you want to return to the screen with all the levels, just press next and in the next level press the “pause button” at the top left corner and choose the button with the “3 rows dot-stripe” icon.

Tips, please?
High arc to drop first bird into the left side of the pile of presents. Several attempts and never more than 155K with 3 birds. Then just now with same shot got a 1-birder! Everything just blew up. So 3 bonus birds for a total of 173+K and for the first time ever the top score. No skill involved, just luck, but still cool !!
Another one from the “seasons has got easier” forum. Same strat as estars vid for 73,910. Date of last entry was 2012 so haven’t played this for a looooong time. Easy 4K improvement.

Used the method described above to toss the first bird into the presents and cleaned up with the second. In theory you could use three and still get a pretty decent score.
