What seems to work to get rid of multiple copies per page of ads you don't particularly want to see is to opt out of all interest-based advertising. Click on the little arrow in the top-right corner of the add for Ad Choices. This brings up a list of options, which I can no longer see, but I clicked on the first one, which let me opt-out of Double-Click interest-based advertising. Why am I not surprised this is part of Google?
I know this won't get rid of those ads entirely, but their frequency should be a lot less. Now I'm getting a lot of ads I've never seen before.

@mvnla2 - I noticed a warning that says I need to install FLV Player. What is it and why do I need to install this?
Also, is there a way to stop the video ads from playing automatically? I'll be listening to something else in another website and the audio from these ads plays over what I'm watching. I cannot find a volume control on the ads, and the only way to stop them is to shut down ABN altogether.

@SweetP -- I'm not the best person on the nest to ask. No idea what FLV Player is; definitely wouldn't install it. I have the sound off most of the time, but I sure would be annoyed if I were trying to listen to something and an add from ABN played over it.
Try the opt-out option I mentioned above; much happier with ads since I did.

@SweetP ignore that. That's the way ads tricked people. For the audio, it's rare for me. Most ads that I've watched had a speaker icon that enables sound when I clicked it. It maybe different in every country/region

@BirdLeader - I noticed the ads shown on the site seem to be targeted at location, which is great. 99% of the ads are relevant for the general Asian working adult :)

However there is one ad that keeps popping up which is inappropriate for the site.
That ad advertises a certain Asian MMO game which is infamous for mature imagery and gender-biased statements, which definitely puts it at M18 and not family safe.

As far as I know that game is nothing special at all nor is it very popular so if there was a way to stop that game's ad from appearing, I think we might cut down on the complaints with inappropriate ads.

@Les Toreadors -- Ads are different for every person, and as you said location dependent. Best thing to do is to send a screenshot of inappropriate ad to @BirdLeader -- either through PM or About / Contact. But then I expect you have direct contact anyway.

@burpie, @BirdLeader - the ad is confirmed still showing. I have emailed supplemental info. This ad redirects multiple times in the same click. May have to block the target of the first redirect or something.

Something seriously wrong with albums. Pictures are not what they say they are. Try and post a link and other pic comes up. All very confusing.@birdleader go to lowest score challenge to see conversation on page 3 and screenshot

Well @AMslimfordy you asked so here it is:
@rat took screenshot 1 of his score in Space 5-4. He uploaded it to his album, and published a link in the low score forum.
I clicked on that link and saw screenshot 2 , an image of another Space level
I took screenshot 3, an image of screenshot 2 and tried to upload it to my album so I could post it in the forum to show him what I was seeing. When I tried to upload it I got half way through the process and it turned into screenshot 4, which is an image of a dodgy advert I sent to Bird Leader, but have since deleted from my album.
I tried a second time, and got screenshot 5, another dodgy advert I had previously deleted.
I still can't view screenshot 1 through the link in the forum, but three other people can.
It's as if the deleted photos are taking the place of new ones in my album.
Hope this makes sense. I use an iPad and I think @rat does too.

Hey birds, I have a problem.

I received a private message from a member on Friday, October 25. I saw the notification via gmail but have been puzzled as it doesn't seem to appear in my messages folder here.

I had to dig out that notification email, get the link from it and finally I could reply that way. Then I went back to messages folder and still don't see the conversation present there.

My account was inactive until very recently and I have only exchanged PMs with a grand total of two persions; one conversation appears in my inbox and the new one is mysteriously nowhere to be found.

@Les Toreadors -- There are 2 places for PMs: the forum and your profile. I think I have sent you PMs both places, but I didn't PM you on Fri. You can find the forum PMs under Inbox on the black bar at the top of the page.

@Birds I need to know more about the ads. As in, where are they linking to? Even better would be to upload a screenshot of the offending ads to your album. There are thousands of ads to search through to find the problem one, so I really need to know more.

I've missed the timing to enter my scores of the AB Friends tournament for several previous weeks but I've I kept the screenshots for those scores and just uploaded them onto my album. Could you please enter those scores for me? Thanks again for your great help! (all of the scores are w/o using PUs)

Umm, why don't you add the scores while you're playing the tournament? o.O Yeah, I've forgotten to add my scores from time to time, but I'll just accept that it's been my bad for not adding them while the tournament is still active. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but just wondering that what if we all start to forget to add the scores and just take a screenshot instead? I would understand if it was one week now and then, but if I got it right we're talking about nine tournaments now?

I know just what you mean, but the pace of life is demanding here……I have to do two jobs……and the real world keeps distracting me……
I DO wish I could have more leisure time and better memory of inputting the scores in time.
