    Well I'm now 3 for 3 on self-destruction. Ran it twice more, on #2 it was all over in about 3 minutes for a score of 187k, & try #3 it took about 5 min for 192k. All 3 times it started on the right side, the big guys started jumping on to the same platform, then slipping off. They would then get stuck underneath, jumping up & hitting the platforms above.
    I'll see if I can get more shots tomorrow & post them on the walkthrough & in the self-destroying forum.
    I'm sorry, I don't mean to tease you with this & make you wait til tomorrow. But uploading pics takes time, I have to e-mail them & fire up my pc (can't upload direct with ios5). And it's way past my bedtime :)

    @kelani they landed on the platforms & slipped off all on their own. No debris anywhere, everything was still intact. I'll try & get pics of it tomorrow. 4th try worked again & I'm up to 196k.
    @rat9 I have level 20 self-destructing, like the guy with the top score. Wouldn't hurt your thumb much at all, just one wee fling required :)
    But now I really have to go to sleep, as much as I'd like to keep trying! Have a good night everyone. :D

    I believe Karen, I just can't see how an old ipad could cause that. It's like saying if you heat your tea in an old microwave, it'll come out coffee.

    Who was it that asked if my cable company was Charter? It was Charter, but Atlantic BB took it over. Same thing, same people, same equipment, same horror. After I got home with my third bad cable box at 5pm, I was livid. I called corporate in PA so they could verify my problem. They then contacted the store, which was closing at 5:30pm and told them to stay open until I got there. I rushed over and got there at 5:32pm. They gave me another box but I wouldn't take it unless they showed me it functioned or had someone come with me to the house with a dozen boxes to try. They tested it, but it failed. Not because the box was bad this time, but because their cable feed in the store was bad. I left the store forty-five minutes after they normally close with me three boxes to try at home and six months of free Showtime. I finally got one to work. Totally destroyed my afternoon though.

    Well, I waited about 6 minutes, and there was no self-destruction on my Android. So, I guess it's only on iOS devices. However, I was able to improve my score by 3K!

    Nevermind @Burpie. I thought if anybody had previous versions of everything, it was you. It looked like @Karen68 was well on her way to self destructing every level. In my excitement, I misunderstood. It was just level 20. So I canceled my e-bay purchase of an old ratty I-pad and won't be needing the out of date operating system. I was looking forward to "not" flinging my way to the top. I could have been a contender even with my out of commission thumb. Drats!

    Back to saving myself for Space and the Burpmiester. lol

    I've posted pics & a description of the self-destruction on the BR-20 walkthrough. Hope it helps all you guys. But I asked Slim about posting the scores, I don't think it's really fair if it's dependant on an old OS that hardly anyone uses anymore.
    @rat9 LOL I wish life was that easy, just sit back & let all the levels do all the work. Sorry if I was unclear last night, I was vewy vewy tired. :)
    I assume the self-destruction is only on level 20, but I haven't really played the other levels. I just blew through them to get to 20. I'd been following all the chatter about it & wanted to give it a try since my ipad is old.
    I'm still finishing High Dive, then maybe I'll join you all, belatedly, on the River. Though I'll have a lot of work to do if I want to catch you guys.

    I'll have to come back later for some Cristal to celebrate, it's still morning here - congrats @mvnla2 on Avian Overlord!

    @Rat That was me that asked about Charter. I don't wish them on anyone. I keep a TV on in the background during the day and have gotten so I'll mute it whenever I hear one of their low-budget annoying commercials come on. (which is every freaking break).

    At my old apartment, our cable feeds for the complex were from the mid-1970s. Underground RG-59 cable. Completely inadequate for one house, let alone 300 with high-speed internet. Every time it rained, moisture would get in their system and screw things up. They got so sick of sending techs out (at my request) their regional manager gave me access to their internal technician website. When it broke, I'd fix it, or send a tech where he needed to be. I tried to get them to pay me, or at least give me free cable, but pfft, it's Charter. So, I fixed their crappy system for 3 years. Last thing I did before I moved was break it beyond repair so they'd have to upgrade. Didn't take much effort, and they did upgrade all of it.

    Thanks @fenikus. That was extremely annoying, and it interfered with any website I visited.

    @Rat9 There are quite a few levels that I can't get close to the top 100, so wash, rinse, repeat is all I can do. Some of the extra points I get are increments of 20-100 points so the climb is a long and painful one! I don't anticipate getting up to the #1 spot anytime, so your trophies are safe, along with @Kelani and @fenikus!

    WTG @Kelani, you're lucky with those double-counted bonus birds! *sigh* if only I could get that much excitement while flinging, even though the score won't earn a puppy!

    Nope, self-destruction in BR20 is not happening for me. I'm thinking maybe it only happens on older iOS 5.0 like @Karen68 has.

    I used to work on the Firefox project. Loved it, until it turned into IE. :)

    BTW, I saw the other day you had trouble with BR-6. I don't have any great tips about it but you might want to give woodpecker's strat a go, I think he may be on to something there (though as he says, destruction is painfully slow).
