  • There aren't many songs that sample Laura's theme from Twin Peaks but here's one I like...

  • Meant to mention Spencer Johnson's figures for the Invincibles yesterday. 3 for 1 in 20 balls. Remarkable.
  • Nobody will ever ever do better than that.
  • Got lost yesterday, really lost. In a forest for about an hour. Map was out of date. Twiggy loved it. And she spotted a hidden gate that eventually saved us. Otherwise we would still be there, surviving on doggy treats.
  • Big push on Danger Above to try to catch @4lien. Odd one this. He(?) was top on just this episode of ABO having completely specialised on it at the expense of all others. When Classics came out he returned to it several years later and extended his lead. Why choose Danger Above especially?
  • Who knows the workings of the mind of an AB obsessive? Gordo is the same in Abra-ca-Debra. He's never featured anywhere else in cumulative terms yet an absolute grand master in this hateful episode.

A good orienteerist never blames his map.

  • Apparently, not
When Barbie and Ken leave Barbie World for the real world, and get whistled at (an offence in Wales, FFS, at my age half a whistle would be appreciated!) she announced, “I have no vagina and he doesn’t have a penis” Ken “Well, I have do have a plastic mound between my legs”

Ah, Durham. In a taxi in London, and someone had won Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
And they read out the final question on the radio: Where do Durham play? Three male colleagues, a male driver. I was the only one who knew
    Barbie Power!
  • I did well in Abra whatever off to see the scores..
  • Yes, remember Gordo402, perhaps going for the sharp shooter badge
    Explains my Timber Tumble scores
  • And, of course, I support many other cricket teams, as long as they playing against Australia
  • And as long as they're winning.
  • Here's one for all Barbie lovers...

  • The Riverside is one of the most picturesque grounds in England in my non biased view.
  • Great to see Tom Banton back on form just too stiff a target for the Superchargers.
  • The New Fire wouldda got those.
  • Such is the peripatetic nature of modern cricket the Fire will lose Shaheen and Rauf before they've got going. Must be a nightmare for directors of cricket.
  • Anyway @desperatedan looks like it's just you and me. @kathy has gone AWOL. Up for an Undertones face off? You know my favourite pop song of all time is Teenage Kicks but I'm going to lead with this one...

  • @kathy you're such a rule breaker. The idea of an Undertones face off is you play a track by The Undertones!!! Should we have a Foster the People /Undertones face off?

  • Well my friends that musical portal into heaven doesn't get any better than this. Good nite all.

  • There are some absolute turd wipes on the roads just nearly had a head on dance with an idiot who thought it'd be a good idea to overtake three cars on a short straight stretch of road. Had to slam on the brakes to avoid a collision. Still had time to eyeball him and give him the Nescafe handshake. Tosser.
  • Loved Pretty in Pink

    Another favourite

  • Unfortunately the Welsh weren’t!
  • @BrianN try being a Blonde Barbie (albeit an old one) in an open top sports!
    I’ve had four.
Worst drivers: white van man, BMW and/or Audi driver, and a stupid kid in a clapped out mini who turned left from the right lane…
  • Never been much of a Springsteen fan but I like the idea of being a blonde Barbie in an open top sports car. Think I'd look very fetching.

Having mentioned muppets driving I have to admit to rolling a car into a field landing on it's roof and ending up back on it's wheels. Totalled of course and I had 4 passengers in with me including my wife(though we weren't married at that point). In my defence it was a thick patch of ice on the road and as we were being driven home by a friend we saw three other vehicles crashed off road. It was one of those Winter days where the temperature plummets at around 2 o'clock and things just suddenly ice up. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

On another occasion driving at a stupid speed on my own this time on the Fraserburgh to New Pitsligo rd I did a total 360° spin and managed to keep going in the same direction. Lucky no one was coming the other way. In my defence I hit a patch of ice...

Yes lot of muppets on the roads.
  • Was gonna play You Spin me Round by Dead or Alive but this is much better.

  • Why did The Fire have such limited understanding of the dimensions of their own ground? Hapless.
  • Someone should have a word with Sky Sports and let them know there are other teams in The Hundred than Welsh Fire.
  • Mornin'' Folks
  • Er, hello @kathy. Didn't mean to ignore you. Wassup in Lurkers Lounge?
  • Whatever happened to @gumby?
  • It's international lizard day!
    https://youtu.be/jQvUBf5l7Vw
  • Did someone mention Lizard Day?
    https://youtu.be/5GjEnbrJuZA
  • I'm a good Lurker, btw OB the CC t.v you installed over there in the Lurkers Lounge works great!
How'd he get What's his name to leave anyway?
  • Trying to finish my book T really wish I had never started Angry Birds and left off my reading l reading, I hope I have time to catch up ::/ with my reading: (
  • Quizzy Monday sensation @hunnybunny. 5 points for 650 Westminster followed by 4 points for 3 Mississippi. Not much else.
  • Well done, Dan, I was good in UC
I was absent yesterday, got pissed in the pub, celebrating my beautiful French boy’s last day (sob, sob)
  • Poor lickle lizards. A lot of teasing going on. I hope they get their revenge. On International Lizard Day!
  • Was he equally emotional?
  • Ah, @BrianN loved the Costello. Also spun a car on black ice, on the wrong side of the road. Luckily at 5.30am so nothing coming towards me. I always hated morning shifts, and that didn’t cheer me up at all…
  • He’s off to Spain for four nights with the Polish Witch (read: wife) then apparently meeting us for drinks early next week. Then going home to Mummy, who is younger than me (!) for at least a month, without the PW, whilst he works out what do with the rest of life. He’s delusional, wants a job with less hours, staff, responsibilities and more money…
  • Fewer hours.
  • I guess it's only delusional if you don't have the talent.
  • What the hell was I gonna ask?
  • Oh replying to @Hunnybunny post from friendly French boy? Chat?
