  • Cinco de Mayo is 3-13 in Pig Days @bernersenn.

To the tennis lovers.. @jlz666, @hunnybunny, @catsnbirds, anyone else did you catch any of the action so far? Fed nearly gave me a heart attack in that 4th set tiebreak.
Watching Murray now & cheering him on. Unfortunately have to head out soon so can't see the whole thing. :(
And @hunnybunny isn't there football later too?
  • Sorry @mahd , seems everyone had a busy day somewhere else lol
Tuesday, ,yesterday, is Whine day, but off course if your having trouble flinging any day ,you can Whine here. and yep we always have egg subsititutes, and we dont eat birds lol, no chicken no turkey, hmm not sure if a duck is a bird , but i wouldn't eat one anyway, it must be a bird ,it has wings and sn fly right..yeah of course..
    OB I'll have a Pigkiller please :)
  • oh Hi @Karen68, was talking over you sorry;)
  • Yep @karen68 Murray is doing the exact same to me right now :O
Having to switch between the channels for the football as Andys game is in 5th set.....*whew*
  • @karen68 @jlz-666 Watched most of the Murray match on tv at home. Then went to pub to watch football, so watched tennis on iPhone. Tennis good. Football bad! At the moment....

Glad both your nationals made it through. Although I support Murray (obviously) I have warmed to Raonic....

Wait to The Olympics: I'll be watching on TV, laptop, iPad, iPhone. All at once. Just love The Olympics...
  • Soory to hear @hunnybunny , @ jlz666 :(
  • @all -- Hi! Back from our July 4th trip, and trying to catch up. More later.
  • @karen68 @jlz666 @hunnybunny Yes, tennis was exciting today! Saw the Fed match, went from fear to elation over the five sets (yep, die hard Fed fan). Glad to see our northern neighbor into the final four, and Murray too! Missed the Murray match, had to pick my b-in-law up from chemotherapy.
  • Welcome Home @mvnla2 :D Hope you enjoyed your vacation and Family gathering:)
always nice to see you @catsnbirds , hope you BiL is doing o.k ? :(
  • @the boss, @mahd -- Welcome to the BP! Sorry not to answer you sooner, but I was out of town for a long weekend. Will answer your questions in the Members' Map later.
Many of us get notified when someone @mentions us in the BP, but I believe it is not going to work for you. The @mention format in the BP is @yournameinblue on your BP posts. Unfortunately, the @mention function does not work if there is a space in your name, so "@the boss" won't work.
On the rest of the site @mahd will work. If your profile is set to get email notifications, you will get email whenever someone @mentions you.
Here is the walkthrough for level 22 of the road to el porkado. To find Bad Piggies walkthroughs, go to the far left of the gold bar at the top of the page, click on Walkthrough, and then Bad Piggies
    http://www.angrybirdsnest.com/bad-piggies-the-road-to-el-porkado-level-6-22-walkthrough/
There is also a Bad Piggies forum, which might be useful:
    http://www.angrybirdsnest.com/forums/forum/bad-piggies-pigineering/
I haven't played Bad Piggies for a very long time and didn't play the road to El Porkado at all. You might try contacting @mightyred1 if the walkthrough doesn't help.
I was going to add a link to the Quick Start Guide, but I notice that you found it.
  • @kathy BIL is doing okay, though tired. He just finished the second of six treatments, is scheduled to be done in early October. They say his cancer responds well to treatment, so, sending good thoughts his way.
Hope you are enjoying your week off, and I won't lecture you about putting off your dental work ;-)
  • @catsnbirds sending prayers to BiL xx
  • Sad about Wales losing in semi-final. Happy we made it so far...
Nighty night all, I'm wearing RED for Wales, been up the pub to see the game, and bloody knackered (read: drunk three glasses of RED wine) Off to bed...
  • @catsnbirds -- Best wishes for BIL. They seem to be making great progress in treating cancer these days.
  • @all -- So another great road trip to celebrate the 4th of July. We left Sat morning and returned Tues evening, and drove >900 miles (all in CA). The 900 miles doesn't count the scenic detours we took so HWDNF could have fun driving his car on winding roads. Sat. we drove to Carmel Valley (just south of Monterey) and played golf at the Quail Inn golf course Sun. Mon. we drove to Sacramento for the family 4th of July celebration. Thankfully, it was a lot "cooler" than predicted, only 88F. We spent Sun night in Stockton, where our hotel room was a block from the city fireworks display, and we had an excellent view out our window. Mon. we drove home.
One of the things I wish all Europeans could experience is the vast stretches of uninhabited, or sparsely inhabited land in the west. Once you leave the main highways, you can drive for hours without seeing another car on the road.
@SweetP -- Another new road (for us at least): the Parkfield Grade from 198 west of Coalinga to Parkfield. Have you ever been on it? It's a very nice, senic, winding road. The last half of it is not paved, but it is in very good condition.
  • Good to hear BiL is responding well to the treatments @catsnbirds , and thanks for the no lecture,, Although i have good reason for delaying the dental work, i Am still getting it done, but thinking about a partial instead of a full bottom denture for fear it won't stay in place due to periodontal problems, so going to keep 2 back molars , consult with periodontist about longetivity of those back teeth with the effects of supporting a partial denture. :)
    Wow was that TMI lol..
  • Oopsy Sorry @hunnybunny Nighty Night , Sweet Dreams:)
  • @mvnla2 Your trip sounds fabulous , happy to hear the weather cooled off for you, I don't know how you deal with it, it was 101 degrees today here, I've been hiding in my AC room lol, even cutting down on the smoking!

  • @mvnla2 driving the west coast is on my bucket list! What is HWDNF car? My HWDNF loves cars and currently has a Merc GLA 4matic with every extra! But it's a year old, and has about another twelve months before he's looking around again
@sweetp I love a motor bike. Mr Bunny does not....
    @rat did you win?
  • @kathy I did medium pic as well, came out huge!
  • Wassup with that @hunnybunny :(
Hmm wonder why medium isn't working¿
    Anyway Nighty Night Sweet Dreams:)
  • @hunnybunny, I never did like them either, but once I got used to it there's no turning back! I believe (and have other riders say the same) that you can see more while on a bike than in a vehicle (we call them cages). The sun and wind on your face, and the feeling of freedom. It's our way of getting some much needed "therapy" for the mind and soul and it's FREE!
@kathy, we are proud of the bike. In fact everytime we go for a ride and stop somewhere, we get a compliment on it. We got it customized after hubby went down on the interstate. :'(
$7,000 in parts and repairs, and we got it exactly how we wanted it to look. Custom paint (I designed it) on the gas tank and fenders included.

edit: @hunnybunny, "What is HWDNF car?" Sorry, don't know what you're asking.
  • Sure it's a beauty @sweetp !!! I used to love riding (on the back of course, never could drive one)
But agreed,, the wind in your face , the sights , the only thing that would be better is Wings l!!
Sorry to hear hubby went down,, but good he is still able to ride!!
  • Thanks @Sweetp that sounds yummy, OB I'll have what she's having :D
  • Haha, @kathy. I ride on the back too. Besides, I don't have to really keep my eyes on the road and can look at everything around us.

@hunnybunny, I think you'd really love taking a long drive up the west coast. From San Diego all the way up to Santa Barbara, then Big Sur to start, then continue up to Monterey/Carmel and wine country. Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Crescent City!
  • Hope you like it, @kathy. It's refreshing and goes down smoothly, without a hint of bitter aftertaste.
  • Thanks @sweetp ,i couldn't really distinguish it, the link takes me to google maps, but I'm sure it's yummy:D
  • HUH? Are you sure @kathy? I just checked and it goes directly to the beer page. Maybe clear your browsing history would help.
  • maybe @sweetp I'll try it again,,gotta eat dinner now, I'll try it after:D
  • @kathy WASSSSUUUPPP
    @hunnybunny LOL
@rat how badly did you lose? Are ya gonna be able to keep flinging or are they coming to take everything away?
@sweetp bikes great therapy, although with the prices of bikes today its definitely not free therapy. Much better to feel the breeze and be on the open road thou :) :)
  • @kathy DING, is your dinger on?
  • @Gumby Waaasssuppp! ! Yep my dinger is on lol..was eating dinner..
  • actually @gumby lol my dinger was off,,thanks for the heads up:)
