Bit wild and windy here. Took Twiggy down the award winning Bangor Pier. It's quite long (460m) and has sensational views. Rather deserted though. Little cafe at the end served doggy ice cream (peanut and banana). What's more to like? Really need to have a look at today's Challenge though...

Twiggy's going to get fat. Actually no chance with all the walking she does. In truth, none of it is actual walking. Since it's all off lead it's either standing still sniffing or belting along to catch up or zoom ahead so she can do some more sniffing. She has become expert at locating kissing gates. She rushes to any she sees (and there are hundreds round here) and stands there waiting for me to swing the gate. A lot of these gates were not installed with the average 21st century physique (i.e. big) in mind. It's only a matter of time before we find somebody wedged. Or, on a remote path, just some decaying remains... (cue spooky laughter).
