  • @mvnla Oops, I meant Piglantis there! Another episode I need to improve on. . .
  • Hello, and good morning (for those of you over yonder in United States :D)

I am usually on facepork running a bacon related page and was just checking to see if there are any fellow green pig fans or will I get turned into bacon at first sight :)
  • Hi @LesToreadors and welcome to BP, you will get free food and drink for the first time you visit here, enjoy.
  • @LesToreadors You're from Pigineering, right? Your piggy contraptions are just awesome, especially those with the King :D
  • Good Morning every one; :)
Welcome to the BP @ Les Toreadors as firebombbird says your first drink and meal are on the house today please read page 1 to get a full menu and an idea what we are all about:)
    @ KimmieCV hows mom doing?
    Have a Fantabulous day everyone:)
  • @Kathy my Mom is doing ok, she's really tired and extremely sore, we got home about 3:30ish, she's just super banged up but no fractures, she's got one humdinger of a shiner though, I'm calling her Rocky right now!! ;)
Thanks for the vibes @tompuss, wasn't sure we were ever getting out of there!!
Great picture @sweetp!! I needed a good laugh!!

I'm Tiiiired so ill say good night/day!
  • @kimmiecv hope your mum gets better soon. My mum was prone to falling, I know the feeling of sitting for hours in A&E waiting and waiting.
Hope you get a really good nights sleep for once
  • Nice to meet you to @sweetP :)
  • @Annifrid Why yes, thank you, I was attracted to this fine venue by the musings of one Dried Ham ( @DH-Kim ) who is one of my top international bacon construction specialists :)

King Pig, being very large and round, is just too cute to leave alone and seems to 'enjoy' riding along our various eggsperiments! I heard he consulted an eye specialist to get his crossed-eyes fixed in Version 1.3, must say his glare is rather... imperious now! He tags along for PR photographs to showcase the technological advancement (and epig fails) of Piggy Kingdom... when the contraption is large enough to carry one metric ton of premium pork that is. :)

Recently I have had this fascination with diesel-egglectric porkpulsion which can be used to construct a lot of wacky new contraptions all based around the same drivetrain. They were all constructed over the weekend but I had my birdday and the family to tend to.

Today is my first day back in the bacon engineering office and I thought to stop by for luncheon. And newbies have a free first round? Why thank you chaps, mighty fine hospitality to a passing side of bacon :)

*orders up an amusingly ironic dish of Tofu Scramble w/Fakin' Bacon & Sausage*

Thank you for the warm welcome @Annifrid, @Kathy and @SweetP!
  • @LesToreadors failed to tag me :P

Btw are there something needed to join here except the listed ones?
  • @LesToreadors Olé and welcome! I do so enjoy your videos and guess you're a Great Engineer in "real" life.
  • @all Drinks all round to celebrate. . . pagechanger! L-factor at work there.
  • @LesToreadors and @DHKim -- Welcome to the BP! No need to join, just stop by whenever you want. Unfortunately, you both have a space in your name as it shows up in the forum, so @mentions in the forum will not reach you.
The people who are declared piggie fans have a green dot on the ABN members map in groups. You're so far in the minority. Les Toreadors -- would love to add you also. You need to request inclusion on the map in the map group.
  • @Kimmiecv -- I take it your mom fell, but didn't break anything? Hope she's doing well. Hate spending time in hospitals!
  • @Kathy @SweetP -- Icebreaker is a Rovio Stars game (like Tiny Thief, which I don't /won't play). Look at Walkthrough / Rovio Stars / Icebreaker to get an idea of what it's like. Also look under achievements. I've enjoyed Icebreaker, and found lots of levels very challenging. Some of the new achievements are also challenging. So try it, you'll like it.
  • One bad thing about Icebreaker: it has been released for iOS only so far.
  • @Annifrid -- Oh, oh! I guess that is why the video has the Vikings asking when the Android version will be released. Not to mention explains why a lot of people haven't played it.
  • Hope your mom feels better soon, @kimmiecv. Sending healing vibes over to your side of the pond.

Thank you @TomPuss *clink* and cheers to everyone!

    Have a happy flinging day.
  • @mvlna2 I love Icebreaker. It's a beautifully done game.
  • @AngryBirdsSpaceMaster -- So have you gotten all the new achievements (at least those that are not bugged)?
Did you get to 100% complete on all levels before the new update?
  • hi everybody :-) does anyone know what happend to terrorbird? He's missing from the ABSpace top scorer list...used to be 5th place in Crazy Crystals
  • I saw a couple of the walkthroughs @mvnla2. Looks very interesting, and I'm intrigued. I see that it's only available for iPhone/iPad, so I'll have to wait until they release the Android version.

Hello @ABSM! I haven't seen you around in awhile. Or maybe you have and I just missed you. LOL Anyway, nice to see you again. :)

  • @all good evening, as it here in the in the UK.
    Never played icebreaker
I too saw that terrorbird disappeared, must have had his leaderboards taken down by the admins. No idea why.
I have two "suspect" players in Seasons, but can't ever sully their names as I have no proof whatsoever! What do the admins know, that we don't?
@happyshake clicked on your web site, fabulous photographs, shame I don't speak any German at all, must be a lot more interesting to read about them. I'm jealous of your travels around South America and then Antarctica.
  • @hunnybunny - you can use Google to translate the page. It works quite well to get the idea
  • @mvnla2 I found something interesting about uninhabited Pig Island (or Pig Beach). Those piggies can swim! LOL The locals bring food to them and the pigs will swim out to the oncoming boats to get the goodies.
  • @happyshake I'll give it a go. I did some translating of 19th French on Google (long story) needless to say it didn't work terribly well!
I've only been to South America once. On a cruise, we stopped in Cartagena, Columbia. Walked the walls, dying of thirst, found this little bar, hadn't been decorated for about 50 years. The cleanest glasses, the coolest beer. Heaven!
I love the contrast of our normal cruise, five star hotel, type holiday and then going out to see the 'real' country. Eating in China Town in Kuala Lumpur, on upturned buckets, watching the rats running over the building opposite, best food ever. And back to the Shangri La hotel for cocktails that cost twice as much as dinner!
    Where are you going next?
  • @hunnybunny I'm going to southern Africa for 5 months starting Nov 6th. Start in SA then Namibia for X-mas on to Botswana and Sambia. Simbabwe and Mozambique in March and then via Swasiland and Lesotho back to Cape Town
  • Ohhh. Sounds fun @HappyShake! The only place besides the United States is Europe, to be specific Italy and Spain. @SweetP nice picture up there! :D
  • Hi @bubbleslover how's it flinging? Lol
  • @BubblesLover I'm in Italy right now, specifically Sardinia and it is qiute boring. Season is over, everybody is gone. I seem to be the last tourist on the whole island
  • Haha @HunnyBunny. Stealing my punchline. lol @HappyShake, Yes, probably because everyone is at school or work right now (sadly). Boring, yes. I hate historical markers because my mom stops at EVERY SINGLE ONE, and take thirty minutes (or so it seems) to read it. The best historical marker I've seen was in the US, saying "On October 7, here on this very spot... nothing happened."
  • @BubblesLover -- Google Pig Island, and you'll see.
  • @BubblesLover in the US everthing that's 200 years old is historical. In Styria (where I come from) every farmhouse has furniture that is older than that ;-)
  • Yes, yes. USA is a fairly new country (if you call, what, 200 years old?). Furniture over 200 years old, is well... old! ;)
  • @happyshake Styria is in Austria (OK you know that!) I thought you said you were German?
  • I was born and raised in Styria, then they dragged me to Germany and forced me to accept the German citizenship - so now technically I'm German
  • Wales...hm..I was in Cardiff once. What I remember is that the girls were wearing almost nothing and it was raining and freezing cold
  • Hmmm, how old??? 400 years? I dunno!
  • @Happyshake I think I'm a little older than you, so I certainly wasn't me. I grew up. If you ever come back to Wales, I'll give you some tips. It's a stunning country, totally under rated. Coasts. Castles. Mountains.
  • @HappyShake, I find that the Welsh, and the British in general, have perfected the art of mind over matter. They could decide that it's perfect weather to go sunbathing in a blizzard.
  • Oh. Whales sounds amazing! I have never been to Great Britain... Halfway there, time-wise @HunnyBunny!!! lol I have to go! See You! =^.^=
  • @burpie and this goes back a long time. Even Caesar was surprised when he saw the locals barefoot in the snow
  • @Hunnybunny, and great cliff climbing near Pembroke!
  • @bubbleslover It's Wales. Whales live in the sea!
    @happyshake explain?
  • Just read Burpie's comment, which explains. Missed that, talking to rat elsewhere
  • Thank you @hunnybunny, @sweetp and @mvnla2 she's very sore but doing ok.
HB my Mom is a horrid clutz as well, she's been better as she's gotten older, which is weird as I thought with age she'd get worse but this was a real doozy of a fall!

Can't stop but wanted to thank you for the well wishes to Mom.

Everyone have a great Wednesday (it's Wednesday right?)
Welcome to BP @lestoreadors and @dhkim, hope you are able to visit more often.
