    @Rat9, with 1-30 it didn't help... but by playing that level on my phone + PC simultaneously, it cut the time to get an outrageous score by sheer luck in half.

    @rat9 I'm not offended, still not sure which rank is my abso fav although I am partial to the skivvys, they just strike me as super comfy! Master slinger is indeed a wicked looking rank and it seemed to go by faster than I thought it would! I'm quite sure BL would down grade you once you hit the sling rank like he did e-star if you asked him too! :) Teehee our resident "pet" doesn't like being a pet! Awww but your so cute!! ;D Glad to see you back here and hope now that you know you don't get posting points you'll be back to normal in BP!     @burpie, I have this funny vision of you...phone and mouse in dueling hands. I've seen people in the casinos playing multiple games as if they were bingo cards. Hands and eyes frantically going in all directions. I've also seen those same people make mistakes on the games such as video poker. i.e. Throw away a winning hand. They would be better off increasing their bet and playing one machine well, instead of two or three poorly. Their money!

    Hi @Burbie --Haven't caught up yet, but curious about how you keep all your scores in the same lua file? I somehow lost some scores in ABO RMF, and haven't been able to match one.

    Hi @mvnla2, You can't update scores to a lua file except by playing a level. If you want to merge existing scores from 2 files into 1, you're out of luck.

    So from the start I've always taken the highscore.lua file with me when I switched devices. And I've switched from new ABSp to old ABSp versions and back, and from Android to PC and back without a problem.

    Mumsie comes back into BP checks for supply of wool, settles herself in her rocking chair and starts to knit - the needles are going so fast OB sets the fire extinguisher next to her chair as he's sure he can see smoke coming from them!
    Have been really busy with my very own heyyous - so will sit here and catch up on all the news. Oh OB, how kind, yes I'd love a cup of tea.

    @ABCrazy -- I think there may be more than one kind of smart board. The one used on TV seems to be a plasma TV with touch capability. The one I saw on a webpage showing someone playing AB on it, was a projection screen, so would show shadows.
    If you find more info on the one on the TV news, please post. I want to put it on my Christmas list. Fat chance I'd get it though.
    What is the PS3? I suppose you mean a PlayStation 3, but does it have a large touch screen?
    I think about once, maybe twice, I tried playing while looking at a fairly large (but not gigantic) HD TV and using my iPad as the touch screen. I think it could provide an advantage to accuracy, but you are still limited by your ability to position your finger or stylus on exactly the pixel you want on your iPad. It is also a little difficult to get used to the separate touchscreen and viewing screen, not to mention somewhat of a pain to set up. Oh, yeah, and hubby would have a major fit if he found magic marker dots on "his" TV!

    @mvnla2 Ahhhh.... The holidays and the fantasyland of the wish list. :-D A super large high def touchscreen screen for me please! Ummm... With the highest scoring version of any AB game preloaded. Luv ya Santa!
    Yes the PS3 is play station with no touchscreen. Only those... Controller thingies. Connected to our somewhat largish LED flat screen. My son pointed out to me several months back that AB is now available on that system. I declined to bite as I was already spending too much time trying to establish a strong lead in Tatooine. Still, a really big screen could be fun....

    @ABCrazy -- I'm not actually using magic marker on my iPad, because I think the dots are too big. I don't even usually use stickies, although maybe I should?
    But I think magic marker dots on a large screen might just really be the ticket?

    @mvnla2 I think that may depend on your technique and what works for you. I think my stickies and can only guess @rat marker dots are really useful for those ABS &ABSW levels with aiming dots that require very specific aiming points that don't have a convenient star or other target in the background. The trick is honing in on exactly the pixel you want to hit. Whatever works to get you there.
    The biggest screen I've played on so far is my iPad. I don't really know if going really big helps, but it is an alluring thought. ;-)

    Mumsie pops back in - OB sheepishly comes over to apologise - Mumsie tries to look haughty but with one side of hair all frizzy can't quite carry off the haughtiness campaign so gives him a hug instead! OB blushes and takes Mumsie over to show her that he has dried and polished her rocking chair, dried off all the dusters that @JLZ666 soaked in her 'rescue' efforts and he has bought her some lovely new knitting needles to replace the melted ones and they're bamboo ones!!! Mumsie is so pleased she gives him another hug. She sits on her rocker and promises to knit at a more sedate speed now.
    Looks over all the chat and asks OB has he got any further with the planning for a large touchscreen for the BP - he says that all he has done is look at the wiring plan (but the admins would have to approve that) and written a letter to Santa!
